Alyssa yelped as they surrounded her and Angela.
Okay, maybe hiding in the trees wasn't the best idea... But she leaned on her staff heavily and tried to smile. "Hi there, y'alls," she said in her best Southern accent, hoping to distract them. "How's life?"

He laughed at the cripples comment. Aaron looked down at the other girl, and grabbed her hair, not too hard, but hard enough. "She's a funny one isn't she.." he laughed. "Wonder hos she acts when her ally is in trouble?" he smirked

He leaned down, and pinned Angelina's arms and legs down, so she couldn't pull a fast one on Aaron.

She looked down and kicked her side. Not lightly, but not so bad to break her bones. Maybe some bruises.

Every instinct in Alyssa's body screamed for her to run, or to get Angela out of there. But she pretended to stifle a yawn. "Well, that was refreshing for a change." She looked around. "How're the Games going?" She poked a finger at Sierra. "Saw you earlier. Not the brightest move, going straight for the river like that."
