Sorry I dont know about apps as I only get free ones. I've been meaning to play the sims 3 a bit more, but that will have to wait probably for a fornight.

The prices suck tho! for the Sims 3 + 1 expansion pack it is around 50 and for the Sims 3 and expansion pack separate is 40 a piece, a bit of a rip off in my opinion I bought just the Sims 3 by itself just to realize this >:(

This is the reason I buy them only when they go on sale, which is actually really often on GameStop, Origin or Steam. =P I actually have a friend who spent 60 something on what I believe was three expansions and two stuff packs. That kind of sale doesn't hit too often, but I have gotten the two for one deal more than once, which makes the price per expansion be twenty dollars which is manageable. The only expansion I have gotten for full price so far is the Seasons one, come to think of it. P=

It's more expensive as it's around 30 per expansion pack where I live, and it's because this time around, they released a mac/PC version whereas for the sims and the sims 2 PC and Mac versions were separate. And obviously PC is much cheaper than mac

Hi all, I haven't posted on this topic before, but this seems to be the topic of experts regarding Sims 3 and I'm trying to figure out which Sims 3 smartphone app to buy. If I decide to purchase one of the Sims 3 apps I'll probably only buy one so I would like to know which one is the most entertaining beforehand.
Have any of you guys tried the apps? Any opinion on which one is the best?

the apps are terrible, more than half of the stuff available in the sims 3 for console or for pc is not available, and the graphics aren't too good either.
I played on my friends phone who has all of them, and the only one I really liked out of the paid ones was Ambitions: it was a pause button and children, which the other ones do not have, and it costs less and I believe there are more jobs.
The FreePlay one is not that bad, but its a bit different than regular Sims 3 gameplay.

I got all my expansion packs from friends I've bought WA only because there was a sale at target that if I bought that I'd get the base for free.

You're gonna love it! I only own three expansion packs, and nothing can ever replace Pets, but Seasons is amazing!
