She eyed the alpha through slightly narrowed eyes. She turned her ears back, trying to subtly drown out the brute's over-excitement, not realizing she had an oddly content expression spread across her face. "Yep! Took some sticks and stones, and bruised bones, but we brought the fatness down!" she joked, her eyes lighting up. Her soft side was beginning to show....

Trigo

He wagged his tail furiously, before whine-growling happily, "Nicely done! I haven't eaten much more than berries in the last few weeks!"
He sat down happily, licking his mouth, beginning to savor the thought of eating the fatty, rich meat....

~I have no idea....~

Jade

The fae laughed and started to swallow down the meat, licking her chops and eyeing the brute hungrily.

Heath

The brute laughed and nudged Shadow, who giggled in response.
"We've pleased them," He smiled and watched the two eating, flanked.

Shadow

She smiled, and dipped her head, feelling suddenly drowsy and one hundred andfifty seven percent satisfied...
She lay her head on her paws, and closed her eyes, and murmured up to the brute, "Mmmhmm..... I'm tired.... Ribs hur---" she trailed off, her voice crackling with sleep.


Trigo

He waited a moment, then tore hungrily into the animal, the warmth flooding his mouth and throat. "Mmfhtansh.." he muttered, chewing his food, famished.
He watched breifly, as the new female dozed off, the other hunter nudging her happily, satisfied.

Jade

She giggled at the next to her, though she couldn't quite understand what her was saying to her.
"You're not suppose to talk with your mouth full," She smiled.

Heath

The brute has told himself to close his eyes for just a minute, but ended up curling around Shadow.

~I think I might go to sleep soon~

Shadow

In her light doze, the warmth in her body increased... Her heart fluttered. It began to beat faster, but she forced it to slow down, as he would obviously feel it through her pelt...
She woke. Heath was curled around her. She didn't want to disturb his sleep, sp she stretched on her side, exhaling heavily. The aroma of blood filled her nostrils, as she closed her eyes, pretending to sleep.

Trigo

The heat of the day finally reached him, and he sat back from the carcass, panting. He has hot. He lay down in the shade of a random den, and looked slyly at Jade. "Looks like one drowsy little clique you've got here, babe!"

Yeah, getting tired myself. Nearly nine here, I wake up at six... DX }}

Heath

The movement of of the fae around him didn't disturb his sleep, but stretched his acheing paws and opened his eyes slightly.
"Mmhmmm,"
He watched Shadow, then to Jade and Trigo before closing them again.

Jade

Jade laughed and smiled at the two dogs, Shadow and Heath, warmly. They seemed to connect, the way she and Trigo did.
"That Heath is a good hunter," She yawned sleepily, looking over at Trigo with a grin on her face as she caught a ping on jealousy in his expression.

Shadow

She grunted sleepily, and unknowingly, pushed her body further up to Heath, just before falling back into her dreamy nap...
Her drwams consisted of the previous day's happenings, only everything was expressionless, emotionless..... No sound..... Nothing.

Trigo

He caught himself, falling asleep, from falling to his side, and murmured, "Mm gonna nap mabbe."

Heath

The brute grumbled, something that even he himself couldn't understand, and turned into his dreams. The were of the chase, bringing down the male antelope while running at great speed next to Shadow, and his leg even started to move in his sleep.

Jade

The fae laughed and sat next to him, licking blood from the fallen kill off her pelt, and flicked her tail in amusement as Trigo nearly collapsed.
"You should," she said, still giggling. "Before you collapse on me,"

Shadow

She would have slept longer, had she not been thristy.
She slunk out from the crevice in Heath's body where her's fit near perfectly, and trotted to the water hole hastily. The pack seemed to be just about crashed for the afternoon. ....
Once at the water hole, she lapped at the water, quenching her parched mouth, cooling her body temperature. A lone lioness, glaring at her with beady eyes. Obviously, the lioness felt as if she weren't challenged, as she pinned her ears and crept very, very slowly towards her.
Oh no. Dead cub near the camp.......Oh no.... She thought frantically, frozen in place.


Trigo

He drifted off into a dreamless sleep, oblivious to the rising predicament.
