Sample of Roleplay

Sollux sighed, running a hand through his tousled dirty blonde hair. The day had been a stressing one, to say the least, and he was quite bored. Sitting in Geometry class, he listened half-heartedly as the instructor rambled on about the Pythagorean theorem. He already knew most of the course from when he had taken it online - sadly, the credits from when he took it weren't included in his actual grades, and he, a 10th grader, was forced to take it again. 'I should be in Algebra II right now...', he thought to himself as he leaned his read onto the desk, the rims of his bifocals scratching the wooden surface.
"Mr. Captor, I suggest you sit up this instant. Unless, of course, you'd rather be sent to the dean's office."
"..." Sollux sighed, lifting his head up to grab off his glasses with one hand and place his face in the other. "Yeth, ma'am." His speech impediment prevented him from fully pronouncing the "s" sound, making it seem slurred, but he didn't seem to mind.
For the rest of the class period, Sollux couldn't help his sky blue eyes from darting away from the whiteboard covered in mathematical formulas to glance outside.
He laughed inwardly, sighing on the outside. 'This is stupid...', he thought to himself as he directed himself towards his next class when the bell rang.

school, the worst thing known to teenagers. summer break. the best holiday known to teenagers. summer holidays approaching rapidly, the last day of school is upon the students of rayenhold high, and the teens are readying themselves for the annual bonfire hosted by the seniors of the school. camping through the night, surfing all day long, the beach will be as crammed as ever. police are on the stand-by, and the surf shops on the pier are stocking extra boards in for the warm season. ten of these, however, will be travelling to a private island off the coast of rayenhold beach cortesy of the teenager's wealthy parents. all of them will be sleeping together in a secluded log cabin off the shore of the private island, next to three speed boats to rush back and forth to the main land. now, you may ask why they have agreed to join each other? well, they have one thing in common. they are the city surfers. no matter the time of day, they are found in the water or in trouble with the local police-officers for being in the water too much. now, they have no rules to abide by, just hours of fun and surfing, aswell as truth or dare by the midnight bon-fire. relationships may unfold, enemies may be born, but one thing is for certain; guarrenteed adventure.

Gosh.... You guys post a lot ( gave up reading from my last post- which was like ages ago )

Anyways, I was looking through the forums and well, it hit me quite hard that mostly everyone above the semi-literate level has like atleast one perfect character. Uhhh- like excuse me??? Tess and Nick said quite well that perfect people aren't allowed. o.o but they still make them. Every time I make a roleplay, atleast one joins.

The reason behind it is because most of us roleplay somebody we want to be. Most "lit" people base their characters off of themselves (but a better version). That is why they can write so much. So much of good stuff. When it comes to bad things- ehh, not so much (well, 'cuz who citizens their own personality?) trust me, when I first started roleplaying, that's what I did.

Pssh- yeah, well I really can't take it anymore. The next time I open a roleplay, it is going to be about flawed characters. Characters that are so flawed they are made to perfection. This roleplay will be so awesome that people will want to edit their Mary-sue/Gary-sue to join it.
