Kara troted across a stream stoping for a moment to drink. then looking up and heading towards a dirt road.

Moon saw Kara at the stream and thought it was her adopted mother, Gina. She stalked up and jumped on Kara, "Got you mommy! haha!" When she saw it wasn't her mother she ducked back, "Sorry miss!"

The pup frightened Kara but as soon as she saw it was a pup her fear turned to caution but she was happy at the same time. "its ok little one" she said with a sothing vioce." where is your mother" she asked kindly.

Moon relaxed a little and sighed. "I guess back at camp... I came here to fish for minnows." She trotted to the bank and stared into the water, she shot her snout in and came back with a little fish in her jaws.

Kara looked at the pup with yerning eyes oh how she wanted a pup. " good job"she said encouageingly

"You want it?" Moon set down the minnow and nudged it towards Kara.

" why thank you. what is your name little one?" she said while quickley gobbling down the minnow.
