Jc looked up at Leona and nodded... 'Im fine, just thinking' she said as she grabbed the hoof pick and started to clean Dusty's hooves

Kyle snuck around behind her. He came back up silently, then suddenly grabbed her waist and drug her under the water.

Leona blinked, and nodded, picking up the comb, untangling the knots in Dusty's mane. She wouldn't pry into anyone's personal lives, hoping no one would pry into her own.

Mel yelped and took a breath as she was pulled under, turning around in his arms and kicking back to the surface

'So, how'd you come here?' Jc asked for conversation's sake

On the ride Hayley felt awkward, she kept thinking of something to talk about but she couldn't think of a way to bring it up. She hoped Adrian would say something soon

Leona looked down. "Oh.... I... um.... Have no place.... really.... left to go." she said, her voice getting quieter as she spoke. "I have no more living family. My mom recently died of something serious, id rather not say which." she said softly, her face crestfallen, her blue eyes slightly dewy with tears. She quickly wiped her eyes, hoping Jc didn't notice. She didn't like being anything but positive, and tried hard to see the brighter side of life. "I turned to horses for my family, and draw them to keep bad thoughts away." she said softly.

Kyle grinned at her when she broke the surface again. "Gotcha" he said playfully.

"So where are you from?" Adrian asked, glancing over at Haley.

'I'm so sorry... i shouldn't have asked such a personal question' Jc appologized, looking at her sympathetically

'Yep you did, and i plan t get you back... so expect the unexpected' Mel said, smiling
