"Uh, I don't really know. My parents were killed, you see, and I got reffered here. I wasn't an official student until the start of this year though, as I wasn't fourteen. Some people say I'm a good swordfighter, because I've excellent balance and I'm quick on my feet. I don't believe them, though." Loki grinned. "So, what about you? What brings you here?"

[Maeras]

She smiled sadly. "I've always been good with animals, but late last year I realised that I can speak with them, as well as conjuring fire. I want to learn more about my powers, and how to use them safely. Also, my father's last request was that I would be trained as a dragon handler in the army. He and my mother died last year, and I wanted to fulfill his wish."
They reached the cabins, and Rey'na pointed to one with a 67 painted on the door in flowing handwriting. "I guess that's my cabin then."

[Tylis]

"You can actually speak with them?" Loki asked, in complete awe. "All I've ever been able to do was learn what they mean by watching them day in, day out. I can teach you how to train dragons, if you want. I train all the big boys here at the Academy. I'll see you at around 4:00am, outside your cabin, yeah?"

[Maeras]

"Well, not exactly in words, more in images and smells and emotions, and... oh , it's hard to explain. I'll show you later." Rey'na grinned, "Meet you here, then!"
She turned around and went inside, followed by Valkyrie. Taaniel sniffed at Loki's head for a moment, then turned and trotted back to the paddock, where she started to graze.

Loki slowly made his way back to his cabin, a faint smile touching his lips. He made a new friend - and that's not something that happens very often.

Gender: Female
Description: Dark hair, dark blue eyes, pale skin. She's quite tall, and well built. She's quite strong and fast and good with a sword, but when fighting with any other weapon (including hands) she will lose because she'd really bad at using them. However, she is so good at swordfighting that the teachers will ask her sometimes to help them, and will usually pair her with the weaker kids so she can help them. Unfortunately, other than swords she has no talents at all (she's bad at anything girlish, she can't ride a horse though she can run fast enough I suppose, and she's rather slow in that head. She can't do mathematics no matter what.)
Age: 17
Basic Description: She has pale skin, dark, very very very dark blue eyes, and jet black hair. She's kinda awkwardly kind but has no skill at being social in any way. She has no taste, therefore wears the first thing that comes to hand when she opens up her closet. Fortunately her mother, who bought all of those clothes for her, had pretty good taste, and told her daughter to do laundry at least once a week.
Animal that matches their characteristic: A strong and slightly dumb work horse that does whatever is asked of it and is fiercely loyal to its owners.
Carried Possessions: A sword. That's pretty much it. The sword looks really expensive, even though it is unadorned. The blade is made of a slightly bluish metal that is advertised as "unbreakable". It is long and about as wide as an index finger is tall. The hilt is undecorated and made of some brass-like material. The cross-guard is a cross (just to be specific).
Magical Abilities: At one point managed to summon the tiniest flame ever. Since then has never managed to do it, though who knows what might happen when she gets angry. Probably nothing.
