What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
Fri Feb 25, 2011 8:38 pm

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
2378.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Everyday, lol.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
The whole day basically..
If not near PC, I'm mobile^^.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them -
I never moderated a forum, but I am up to it. I've mini-mod, though.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes, plenty of times.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Possibly a good 2 - 3 hours, when I'm in a mood to draw.
But that will change, if I get the job. :p

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I've always wanted to become a moderator on CS. I am on everyday, I am majorly obsessed with this WS. I would do ANYTHING to help out on here, and I mean anything^^. Even if I don't get the job, I will continue to help out no matter what{:.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
Yes, im actually in HS and I got stuck in that class for entire year ..it was boring, but it was worth it. I help out in situations with the students that get into fights in school. If you want to know anything, I can actually PM you what I had to say inorder to get those students to sign agreement contract to not break it or else they wouldn't be to stay in school, they were broken many times before, though. I also have the sweater that says Peer Med with my name on the back^^. I deal with conflicts like this everyday. When school starts, again, I will be back to doing this all over, again^^.

1. What date did you register as a CS member?: Oct 25, 2010
2. How many posts have you made in the forum: 1,276 posts
3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I usually visit CS all 7 days of the week. The past 2 days I am on vacation and been spending only mornings and evenings, but usually I spend everyday and I love this site.
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I would spend in summer 2 - 4 hours and in school days 1 - 2 hours.
5. Have you moderated on any other forums before? I don't quite understand, but I don't think I have
6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? I recently started oekaki because I noticed that the layers and you can edit each separately. I am working for a shop with Vampicorn and it uses oekaki. Otherwise, I will be using GIMP for my images news.
7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Sometimes I do. I see the foxes for sale usually and than the dogs for sale that they bred CS pets with. I think it's really nice to see the other art by members.
8. Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I have plenty of time on my hand and I always see the moderators moderating the forums and I always wish I could be one. I think I would be a very good moderator because I know all the oekaki forums and what they are for.
9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I do babysitting, drawing, oekaki . . . some of the kids are mad at me for not buying them icecream and I've always hated babysitters my mom got. I do work well with reacting calmy. If a kid screaming or says they hate me I would ask them why or leave them alone

I had one warning before but I thought it was okay because I was an artist at that shop. It was a while ago though

What date did you register as a CS member?:
February 27

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
2495

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Almost everyday, unless I'm entirely swamped with homework or grounded

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Weekends; Most of the day
Weekdays: About four hours, if I can get free time after my chores and homework

Have you moderated on any other forums before?
Last Resort

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes. Even though I'm not very good, I love to go around and like members' drawings.

Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I want to be able to extend a hand to CS members. There are small, minor things that trouble me sometimes, and larger things that I've had people ask me about. I want to be able to help newer members- and COPPA'D users- understand the functions and things of CS. We were all like this when we joined and needed pointers from older, more experienced members. Now I want to give that back to other CSians. :D

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Well, I'm a very calm person and it takes a lot to make me angry. I tend to handle things rather well in fighting and rude situations, even though It may not seem like it. Everyone wants to be treated with kindness, no matter how badly they act.

Right now, 8343

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Everyday.Unless I am out of town.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Usually more than 5 on the weekdays. High-school has cut down on my time.

6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?

Oh yes.I look at almost all of the sections all the time.It kills my time when I'm bored.
More-so the Intermediate,Editable,Colored In,and Beginner sections.
Obviously I would start looking everywhere if I got this job.

8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
Oi,this again.
I have been on CS a pretty long time, and have loved it every second.I have always wanted to help the community in some way, more than just helping random people.
Short and simple..

9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I am very experienced in peer meditation.Being involed in-between many fights with friends from other sites has helped me with this. Also,I am very calm and collected when it comes to people getting mad at me.If somebody were to yell at me for correcting them,I know what I have to do.I would not yell back at them and start a fight.

1.What date did you register as a CS member?: Wed Oct 27, 2010

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 318 posts

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: On average I am on Chicken Smoothie every single day; so 7 days a week.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: I am on Chicken Smoothie at least 6 hours a day, depending on the day. Weekends tend to be longer amounts of time.

5.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them

Mini Mod for Liocko’s Adoptables: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=722340 No I have not ever been a moderator, but that doesn't mean I haven't helped out when it was possible. occasionally on forums I would remind people of the rules.

6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?: Yes I have been on Oekaki a lot to draw, though most of the time I am entering contests and coloring in free-lineart. But I have created my own drawings on Oekaki in the past. Speaking of Oekaki, I spent over four hours yesterday creating a design to enter in a contest.

7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?: I spend a lot of my free time on Chicken Smoothie looking at other people’s artwork and understand their concepts. On average I would spend 2 hours browsing the Oekaki.

8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?: First of all I would like to state that I know what it is like to be an artist. For I have been one all my life. Truly being an artist isn’t something you are born with or given as a talent, because if we just take the time and think about it everyone is an artist. Everyone one way or another has taken the time to draw, create or design something extraordinary; out of the ordinary. This comes with pure imagination and wanting to stride for a better life and world.

Sadly in this world not all people see this as to be true. Today people only see artists as people who are better at creating something, designing or understanding a concept better than us. This is a truly wrong statement and shouldn’t be thought of this way. Some people today consider commenting on people’s artwork to be called criticism. The main idea to criticism,

1. Is simply this; criticism is commenting on someone’s work suggesting an improvement of some sort and or speaking about the qualities of the piece.

And over the years of watching people comment on artwork and add suggestions I came to the decision of two responses; the first response is the positive out-look, this is when people who are artists respect other people’s opinions and value their input. This usually leads to a better artist’s creation the next time around. The second response isn’t quiet taken as a positive outlook. The criticism is the same but how the artists’ deciphers it is the real ordeal. Sometimes people see criticism as a bad note their work, like they did something wrong or it isn’t to the public’s likings.

I truly believe that some people see criticism as just that, a non-perfection. This made me realize that even I do admit that before I took the time to realize this I did too feel like response number two. To this notation I realized that instead of trying to please myself, I tried to please all people around me. I took those pieces of criticism and I thought of it as a bad thing.

I know this may seem off topic but it isn’t. The reason I wrote this was because I know what it is like and I understand people’s value in art. But I wanted to really say is that I believe that every person can create and design their own artwork with out all the judgement.

I, Ainki would like to be a Moderator for Oekaki not simply for the observation of the art or the style of the artist but merely for the encouragement of the people who took their time to create such beauties of art. I want to be that moderator that takes their time in posts that takes each piece of artwork and frames it on the wall. I want to be that Moderator that smiles at every person who comments on people’s work. I want to show and help people with their work but most importantly, I want to be a supporter of Oekaki and the arts because it is one of the most priceless jewels on this earth.

9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?): There are many overall skills that I can bring, no will bring if I am chosen for this position:

Knowledge of Emotional Stability of Art: In other words, I understand and take both sides of every story. And in doing so I am able to observe and interpret problems. Therefore I am a creative thinker. Also this means that I have obtained from personal knowledge the way of the art-form with experience from observing other artists in the working and people in general.

Artist: Like I mentioned earlier in this forum I am an artist. So I understand and take in the art-forum as a peace of the earth’s culture, but more importantly the people’s hearts, views and ways of life. Because art is one of the only places where people in this world can be free to express all emotions.

-I have also had experience with most forms of art these days; traditional, digital etc. Thought frankly I prefer digital I still like to draw with a pen and pencil. I can take these qualities and help out any people who need assistance with Oekaki.

-I also know some coding with HTML, CSS, Javascript and XHTML, this might become helpful in future use of the Oekaki production as well as being a Moderator. On that note I also am a major in Graphic Design, which also can play an affect into helping out, (like tutorials, warnings etc.) Adding some flare to the system.

People Person: I know and understand that everyone has a different view, and I know that everyone who reads this may not think some of this is true, and that is fine by me. This forum is my opinion and not everyone agrees. But on this note there is a major difference between fact and opinion. In the case of the rules they are fact; in other words they need to be followed.

-I work with people on a daily bases at school and at work. So I get a lot of opinions and friends as well. I don’t believe that people should be judged in the least.

As a last note I would like to say this:

A moderator isn’t just a job it is a responsibility. As a moderator you hold the rules in your hands, you take the time to understand and know perfectly what is at stake. You are strong, labours and encouraging. You take the time to tell people what they have done wrong no matter who it is. If they have gone and broken the rules you punish them according to the rules not your own opinions. And as a Moderator for any site or job you must remember you are not alone and when you are doubt ask someone else, people are here to help.

Ainki wrote:And truly rules are placed here only to protect you from harm, so don’t hate them embrace them.

Thank you for my consideration and the chance to apply,

Ainki

1.What date did you register as a CS member?:
Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:49 pm
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
718 posts. (Whoa.. when did that happen?)
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
8 :P, when school starts most likely less.
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
2-3, possibly even 4-5. Like above, when school starts, less.
5.Have you moderated on any other forums before?
I moderate on my own thread, TinyTrotters. Link to version 2- viewtopic.php?f=58&t=739942
6.Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes.
7.Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yus... I used to be a bit embarrassed about it, but know I see it has a use!
8.Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I would love to be an oekaki moderator for CS because I feel as though I do check the oekaki forum a whole lot, a bit too much :). Now that I see this has a use, I would love to make my habit helpful to CS. If I were to become an oekaki moderator, I would be very grateful. I promise I would not use this position to my advantage, nor would I attempt to get revenge on any player or anything else not acceptable. That is just not who I am as a person.
9.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Yes, I suppose so. I am a PeaceMaker (Peer Mediator) at my school, and for several years I have been helping look after pre-school children for a program at my church. Hopefully this will be helpful for my (possible) position.

I love CS and think Nick and Tess have put alot of time and effort into making it a safe, fun game. I would consider it an honor moderating CS Oekaki forums. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)

What date did you register as a CS member?: September 19, 2009
How many posts have you made in the forum: 6863.~
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: On average, 7 days a week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: Well, I'm on-and-off all day .. I'm just going to say several hours. xD Usually in the time-range of: 10-a.m. to 11-p.m., MST
Have you moderated on any other forums before?: I was admin of my own site for a while, ' The Last Shadow ', but it is no longer up and running. I was also an artist on a friend's site, ' The Brightest Black ', though not any longer.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?: Yes, I've done many color-ins/designs and though it was difficult for me to learn the ways of ChibiPaint at first, I've gotten much more experienced.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?: Oh yes ^^; I browse the oekaki boards several times a day/week, and sometimes give helpful critique and/or comments. I love seeing the art of the people of CS~
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?: I've loved drawing and seeing others' art since I was a child. In the past several months I've grown a particular liking to CS's oekaki system -- the talent people posses here is incredible.
I feel I have enough experience with CS to know what level of skill belongs in what boards, I can give critique, and I'm always friendly to others.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
Uhm, well .. Like I said, I am an experienced and skilled artist and know the program of ChibiPaint very well. Since I do browse the boards nearly every day, I know what belongs in beginner, intermediate, etc.
I have been elected leader in classes for many years, and am always polite and friendly. I know how to calmly settle arguments/issues between others.
I have worked with computers/technical problems so I could help with any ChibiPaint issues players have.
I don't judge others by their 'talent' in art; I instead give out pointers on how to make art even better.
I speak fluent English and learning German.

Thank you for considering my form, it'd be an honor to work with the team. c:
