I was just thinking that having pets for Christmas was great and stuff, but i wanted to have pets for other Religious Festivals too like Devali, Eid and.... yeah.... just a thought....
When was the last time you wanted to go buy anything with the word 'Kwanzaa" on it? For people ranting and raving about religious equality, I've never had anyone ask for Kwanzaa stamps when I was selling them. Heck when I offered them, people usually wrinkled their noses.
Sorry, but lesser known holidays are not popular and generally aren't wanted.
We celebrate the commercial aspects of Christmas, not the religious bits, the same way we do with Easter. CS isn't a religious site, so we don't celebrate religious events.
Sorry but we prefer not to celebrate holidays with overly religious overtones as we are not a religious website. We occasionally make exceptions such as for Hanukkah, because we'd like to ensure the majority of users feel included in our end-of-year celebrations. Generally we prefer to celebrate holidays which are recognized globally, and are more commercialized or cultural than religious.
