Luhua was still tense and battle poised as she crept to the back of the male. Reaching out with a paw, she swatted it hard into his leg, hearing a pop, before doing the same on the other. (I totally winged that. x3) Growling, the sick female scrabbled her way to the ledge above the male, which led to her den. "Now, your legs are no longer locked. You can go, or you can see what happens if you don't." With that, she slipped into her den, tail-tip dissapearing last. That took the last strenght out of her as she collapsed in a heap on her den floor, breathing heavily from the short climb.

Calypso giggled and dashed after him. She ran past her mother and into the den, shaking off snow from her pelt.

Shariki smiled at the two cubs and padded away to the back of their den. She reappeared seconds later dragging a sitka deer for their meal. She released its neck from he jaws and smiled. "Eat up!"

Calypso's face broke into a grin and she bolted forward and pounced on the kill. She started tearing into it.

Trutsky dashed after Calypso and into the den. He saw the deer and pounced on it, gnawing on the deer. It had been days since he had eaten, and he was starving. His pelt was pressed up against Calypso's.

Sheik watched the female, in a non-threatening way. He watched what she did, his eye (his dull eye never has light, so i say eye) gleamed at her when she had finished. He stretched his legs happily "thank you! I'll leave you alone now, you must be sick of me"he nodded to her once, in a friendly way, and made his way back to his den carefully. He then sat outside of it, sniffing the air. He really hoped the female found the deer by her den, and didnt think he left it. it took energy to get it up there, and the rest of the herd was lost for it.

Trutsky dashed after Calypso and into the den. He saw the deer and pounced on it, gnawing on the deer. It had been days since he had eaten, and he was starving. His pelt was pressed up against Calypso's.

Shariki purred and settled on the opposite side of the deer and started eating.

Calypso growled playfully and shoved Trutsky. "Told you. You are starving." She growled. She ate her fill and padded over to her mother's side.

Shariki looked at Trutsky. "What happened to your parents young one?" she asked.

Trutsky was so hungry he didn't even shove back. He ate until his belly was distended, and flopped onto his side, rolling onto his back with his paws in the air. At the female's question, he froze. "I... I don't know. I woke up one morning and mama was just... gone. There was red snow and a hard, shiny rock on the ground next to it."

Hyou was, again, back on her feet. She was at a limp now, as she had gotten something stuck in her paw and she hadn't had time to get it out. Finally, when she knew she absolutely needed to be as quick as she could, she flopped down, ripping the rock out of her paw with a quiet, yet agonizing, groan. She rolled onto her stomach, ever so slowly stalking her victim. Her anxiousness and hunger took over, and without a second thought she pounced, landing directly on top of the deer she was hunting. Of course, it didn't take much to throw her off, but now it wasn't very strong due to the gashes she had left in his shoulders and neck. With a grunt she went after him again, and with every last bit of her courage and energy, she hauled herself onto his back. Even though she didn't weigh very much now, it would be wise to wear it out first. She dug her claws deep into his shoulders, beginning to bite down in the middle of them. After one last bleat, the small deer collapsed, breathing heavily. Hyou rested for a brief moment before sinking her teeth into his neck.

Sheik pricked his ears, opening his mouth slightly. His eyes widened, and he flicked his tail once, sniffing the air. He smelt deer blood nearby....but, it was probably someone elses....he gulped, trying to swallow his hunger, but he failed. he quickly started to stalk towards the smell, until he was on a small rock ledge, looking down. He could see a female, with a small deer. His mouth watered

Hyou began to eat, holding her medium sized paw on it's shoulder as she tore the tough and warm flesh apart. Part of her face was a crimson red, and the scent drove her nuts, her hunger shooting like a rocket. She ate even faster, even more protective of her food now.

Sheik was NEVER mean, and NEVER stole food, but his hunger drove him mad. He roared once, and leaped down, landing right infront of Hyou, snarling and baring his pure white fangs, his large claws digging into the ground. The scent of blood made his madness worse, and he snarled loudly, being a pretty large male for his age/
