Hawksky watched Sandstar whisper something to Goldflower, but he didn't know what. He also noticed the Amberheart was upset again, so he went over and licked her between the ears, hoping that would help even a little.

Nightsplash laid in his den and wondered who exactly the new apprentice was and what her name was and where she came from. He had so many questions, but they could wait till tomorrow.

Rogue walked through the forest silently, she decided to do a patrol while the other cats mourned and so she could cry without any one else seeing, siting under a willow tree she sung quietly her lullaybe she made up.
