Garrett took a medium-sized amount of pasta and a small amount of chicken. He shook some grated cheese on the top and sat down across from Taru. He began to eat silently.

Everything felt wrong. Taru's eyebrows furrowed as she took a bite of her food. "What was wrong, earlier?" She demanded with narrowed eyes. "If you don't tell me, I'll leave. You can't keep on hiding things from me, okay?" She sighed.

Garrett looked up at her with solemn eyes, about to take a bite of his food. "I don't want to talk about it, okay? It's personal."

"Then stop sulking and moping around all the time! If you want to be like that.." Taru paused as she stood, grabbing her coat. "... If you want to be like that, I don't want to be around you, much the less be your girlfriend. I tell you about me personal life... the feud between me and my brothers.. If you want to be all isolated and silent all the time I'll get out of your way." She growled, and stormed out the door, slamming the door behind her and heading towards the woods.

Garrett shook his head, getting up and walking towards her. "Taru it's not like-" She slammed the door in his face. What had he done....? Oh well, she'd be back... he hoped. He walked out the door, standing out in the snow and watching her leave. "Taru..." He whispered, sitting on the porch, burrying his head in his hands.

Taru kept on walking, trudging away in the knee-deep snow until she disappeared among the trees. Truth was, she wasn't going to come back her own, and after five minutes in the silence, Garrett would probably figure that out.

Garrett stood up after awhile and began to follow Taru's footsteps. "Taru!" Garrett yelled, hoping to catch her attention.

There was long, dreadful silence- the eerie silence that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end, and then a scream pierced the air. It was Taru. Kuro had come back for the revenge of being embarrassed and looking weak in front of his brothers. Taru's screams weren't out of fear or shock, but were blood curdling screams of pain.

Garrett heard a scream... un unmistakable scream. "TARU!" He yelled and tracked the sound of the screams. "Taru, I'm coming!" He roared, blasting through the forest, knocking branches off trees as he went. He ran as fast as he could untill he finally found her...

Kuro held her by her neck, a bloodied sword in his hand. He turned to Garrett with a sick smile and tossed Taru to the side, watching him curiously. "Aw. Is Taru's little boyfriend going to save her?" Kuro's evil smile stretched, ear to ear, and he muttered. "I think not..." He stepped aside and looked at Taru's body, mangled and bloody in the snow.
Taru could feel anything anymore, and her vision was red. Kuro had sliced up her back and made lines down her left leg with his claws and sword. Taru stared blankly up at the white sky... she looked like she'd already died.
