stretching her legs and yawning, celestia rolled over to watch the entrance to her den. it was dark and grey, clouds smothering most of the light from the sun. patting the wires she'd most recently acquired, she strode out into the wastelands on yet another journey for trinkets. at least the fog was gone, so she didn't have to use her magic lighting the way!

After discovering the den of the Wasteland Beast there was a hesitant air around the group of strangers, but also a noticeable a sense of strength in numbers as the growls echoed around them. Their coats pressed closer together, a pleasant buffer from the cool wind threatening to bring snow. Howler's blinking red light faded, as to not alert the creature lurking in the darkness ahead of them. A silent, unanimous nod showed everyone agreed that was not on their list of places to visit for now. The group backs away from the cliff face, off to explore hopefully warmer and less hostile corners of the wasteland.

Ham really could use a break from pupsitting, he confirms to himself as he accidentally wanders too close to the beast's lair. As he realizes where he has led the small pup, he quickly begins to lead them away knowing the pair of them would be no match for the behemoth within.

@remy! - Keeping his head down, to dissuade the birds, Smudge finds plenty of interesting things, shiny rocks and strangely twisted twigs mostly, but! Amidst the natural wonders, he finds a singular paperclip. Maybe he has some documents that need to be kept together?


@Skitcha, @GhostlyRozez, @ CuppaTea - It is one hectic adventure, with Ham and Brew trying to corral the two young pups. One would think that each would essentially adopt a pup, but no. It was simply chaos all around as Brew chased after Ounari, the two of them stumbling into a bramble with seemingly multiple treasures stuck among the brush. Brew coming out with a snazzy new, new to him at least, side bag! While Ounari, not knowing any better, assumes her bent nail is a treasure to behold!
Meanwhile, poor Ham, he had to hastily crash after Xarvie to stop the young pup from tumbling over the ledge into ‘the beasts’ territory. The scarred and desolate land sprawling before the lair will remain in the young pups memory none the less.

@AxieLove - Unfortunately, the older Omni that Flora had wanted to introduce to Journey, seem to have other plans today. Leaving the two young pups to hope for wasteland adventures another day!

@Ricocheted - It is indeed a good thing he has a thick coat, he muses as the weather seems to chill even further. In his idyllic meandering with Ham, he finds himself picking up a random scrap of wire, peculiarly bent into the shape of, oh, it’s not bent peculiarly at all, it’s merely a paperclip. It could be useful in many things, lock picking, binding papers, a neat accessory even?


@Doryphoros - The fog may have been gone, and the sun may have shone a little brighter, but it did not make the wastelands any less harsh. That was a lesson Celestia was unfortunately reminded of as she stumbled across a pile of bones. Peace be to the poor creature they were left from.


@Ruffblue - As Howler very wisely backs away from the cliff face, as alone he would prove to be little buffer against the great beast, he stumbles. Curious as to what has caused his stumble, he looks closer to inspect the area. A bent nail, hardly a great obstacle to write home about, but a small scrap to keep as a memento at the very least. Surely he has plans to make it useful in the future.

*Crux grumbled as they set off for rummaging. Honestly- it wasn't that bad of a day, but the promise of the weather to come was what had him in a grumpy mood.*

"-and since when did we have a pup to rummage with?"

*Not that Crux would admit it to anyone -think of his reputation- but he actually adored Omni pups. Despite the risk, he thought the little one was brave for venturing out to rummage.*

Deimos gives a pout to Crux, and lifts Flora from the ground. "Look at how cute she is, Crux!" he grinned, placing her down with a pat on the head. "And now we have two pups, so that means we can both choose a pup to keep an eye on." He followed at the pups heels, and kept watch for anything that might be dangerous.

Howler quietly pads along the wasteland, ignoring the brisk air around him the best he could. He notices some tracks going the direction he was traveling- maybe on some kind of path? Regardless, he made sure to keep his guard up, in case he wasn't alone! The cool air makes him long for the warm summer weather once again already- though he'd have to wait some time for that again.

As the group wanders the wasteland, they stumble upon the vacant remains of some kind of structure. As the group discusses what it may be- or rather have been- something in the pile seems to be noticed by the different members of the party simultaneously


@Begreat8970 -

Crux will need something to keep his energy up- having to keep an eye on the pups has taken a lot of it from him. He grabs a Flat Soda sticking out from the edge of the pile, its surface undented. He considers how flat it may be for a moment, before deciding to stow it away for later


@AxieLove -

As the pair of pups yipped back and forth at each other, the sound of their voices lured a small shadow from the rubble- another Omni pup joins your group!

Examining the pile closely, Deimos takes notice of something scattered around the side of the pile- some kind of Unidentified Bones. He takes one for later, just in case.

As Brew and Howler explore the foggy wasteland, he feels something crunch as he takes a step- and notices an Ichor Omni Shard beneath him! He definitely wants to take that with him!



@Ruffblue -

Lost in thought as he cautiously padded along, Howler startled himself a bit as he brushed past a piece of Sheet Metal. He decides to take it with him, as he can think of a few uses for it!
