TOD, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. It is a terrible thing to have to go to school tomorrow.
If you really think you need to stay home, maybe you could ask some neighbors you know well if you could stay with them?
Or maybe you could call a friend's parents and ask to stay with them for a while?
I know that tomorrow probably won't be the best day for you, but do what you think is best for yourself.
And if you end up going to school, maybe you could go talk to the counselor for a little bit to talk for a little while?
I hope any of this helps!

This looks helpful. :3
And I need a bit of help myself. D:

My best friend of going on a year here shortly (I'll call her W), and I used to always get along very well. We would try to have sleepovers every weekend we could and everything. During that time, I kinda ignored my other friends (let's call them, S and G) to the point of not understanding much of what's going on with S anymore. Now, I'm hanging out a lot with G because we have closer personalities and S because I've known her the longest of the group and feel bad for staying so out of touch with her. Since then, I've been noticing things that make me irritated show up and become very obvious in W. Like when I repeatedly tell her to please stop doing something, she never does even though everytime I tell her I don't like it! Becuase of this me and W have got into a 2 decently nasty fights in the last couple weeks. W's mom isn't helping because she keeps punishing her for no reason, making me dislike her and now W thinks just because I don't like her mom I don't like her anymore, and this caused another fight today. I'm trying to ignore her now until we settle down, like the first few times, but what can I do so I don't ignore any of my friends and cause these fights? I've always had troubles with that, but now it's getting pretty bad. It's also difficult becuase we're both the type of person that doesn't say sorry easily.
Am I picking favorites and should try to catch myself, is my personality and pride and everything getting in the way of my friendships, or does W just feel left out and think she's doing the right thing to get my attention back?

It makes me really miss my two old Best Friends. :( They were like my twin sisters. Sadly, one moved and the other goes to a different school now. I really wish they'd come back. Maybe this fighting is happening because I keep hoping W will become like my old friends?

Please help, I really don't want the fighting to continue or escalate, even if it means I have to just ignore her completely from now on.
And sorry for the huge wall of text.

I have had this problem before, I have a few techniques that has worked. If you and W are getting into fights, and it sounds like she is doing things you really don't like of her, try and tell her nicely, and tell her that it bothers you a lot and you want it to stop. If you and G hang out a little more, once you and W calm down, maybe a week, and call and check on her, and be calm so she does not get upset, and have a sleepover and bring S and G with you. You all could become great friends. :)

I agree with Candie. Just take it slow for a bit, then try to arrange some sleepover together, or if you're going to a party, bring all of them with you. And maybe you should try to equalize the time you spend with them on weekends. For example, this weekend you could spend the weekend with S. Then the weekend after, you could spend some time with G. Hopefully you would be keeping in touch with W so that you would be able to spend the next weekend with W.
We, the staff, hope that this advice helps!

I need some advice...

Coming in spring is the next redone version of Pokemon Gold and Silver. I'm planning on getting it, but for the past few months I can't decide what starter I want?!!

Belive it or not, I need help! Can you help me in your own way with this? I guess this would be a form of advice...

Sorry, next time I will come up with more serious one... This is just the current problem for me. I've been debating for the past 4 months!

Your talking about starter Pokemon right? Well I don't know really anything about Gold and Silver, but in the other games I always start with a water type. They usually work pretty well for me in the beginning.

Well, this does count as advice.
Personally, I love starting with water types. I would choose fire second then grass third.
Of couse, that may depend on what the starter pokemon are.
I have the Silver version for my GameBoy Color, I started with Cyndiquil because I don't like Totadile. ^.^
But that's my opinion. Pick whichever one you think you'll do the best with!
Hope this helps, lol.

Okay, I would honestly pick a fire starter. I have always done that. I used to love pokemon. But anyway, You could always pick your favorite thing (some thing that can relate to one of the types) then choose that. Then you could beat the game and pick another type using the same method. Hope this helps!

I'm waiting for the new versions of the GS games, as well. xD I kinda wanna buy it from Japan RIGHT NOW, but I promised my friend I'd let him use it for a couple of weeks, and he can't read Japanese. x_x ANYWAY.

Cyndaquil. I always get fire types to begin with. :3 Makes it a whole lot easier to get through the first couple of gyms and the grassy areas. And if you level up your fire type enough.. they can even surpass the water and dragon gyms by themselves. Lawl, I'm such a nerd. c:

I have experimented with water and grass types as my starters in the past but.. it always took me ages to level up my water type since the first grass patches always had grass types (obviously). --_-- And I think it's clear as to why grass isn't the best choice, especially for HeartGold and SoulSilver. The first gym leader is a bird type.. difficult much?

(Just throwing this in there, but you can also get Hoenn starters around the end of the game. I can't remember how though.. ^^")
