Annamarie
The red-head elf pirate strolled into the elaborate ballroom, with fancy dresses and fancy well tailored suits. Even if she was a pirate, she knew of the elaborate ways that royals met and socialized in high society. She knew that she had gazes on her figure, I mean come on. It’s not every day that you see an elf with red hair wearing a blue dress. It was definitely a color clash, and the women that where there in the ball room whispered under hushed voices. How did she pull off such a look with her hair? What sorcery is this? She strolled on through and picked up a glass of whatever was on the waiters tray. Mmfph, could be better than stupid champagne. If it where her choice, she’d drink rum on her ship any day of the week. But she has to blend in. Annamarie watched underneath her mask and waited for her crew to show up, and speak the devil, the two men appeared wearing matching suits and matching masks.
“Any word of our princess?” The elf asked them behind the mask. “Yes, we overheard that she would also be in a blue dress and a lavish mask.” Her crew said to her while eating from the table foods. “Captain, look there over yonder, think that’s her.” Annamarie chuckled lightly and moved her mask to eat some of the food. “Looks like some guy isn’t too fond of her saying no.”
She waded through the crowd of people that were dancing, “Let the lady be, we are at a ball. Have some manners. Or will I have to teach you some?” She said with a slight threatening tone.
Onyx
The dark elf picked up on her sadness when she mentioned. “Surely you’d be allowed to go back? I don’t see why you wouldn’t be allowed. Just because we are in an arranged marriage doesn’t mean you couldn’t go back home. That wouldn’t be very fair.” If he was in her position Onyx would definitely fight for his right to go back home, even if he had to flee the other kingdom he arrived in. “Come, surely your parents must be worried. They’d be in the meeting room, discussing affairs.”
In a blink of an eye, his magic washed over him and he was soon in his royal attire. And he stepped out of the room, opening the door and letting Amara exit first, the dark elf closing the door behind him. Considering that he grew up in the palace, it only took a couple of turns here and there to get the meeting room. Upon arrival he was bombarded by his parents, asking where he was at, how he was doing and the like. Onyx was very embarrassed and just wanted to hide, but he had to stay due to the political marriage.
