This roleplay is about a war between Lions and Hyenas, in a desperate clash for survival.

The Introduction

The Hyenas have been roaming awfully close to the Pridelands. The Hyenas have started to band together, and so have the lion prides, resulting in massive packs and prides. The Hyena’s have been closing in on the lions territory, eating their scraps and even fighting for land. Food and water has become much more scarce. Its up to the lions to push them back into their own territory.
Maybe we can share the lands peacefully, but it’s much more likely that all hell will break loose.

Its dark. The Pride of Lions sleep peacefully for once. It's the end of dry season and wildfires have been spreading like crazy. This has urged them out of their homelands and forced the lions to relocate. A Couple of the lions that patrol the land are awake, watching for anything going bump in the night. They cant trudge further without being pushed out of the Savanna entirely, so this is where they'll have to settle. Patrol keeps their eyes open, and all stays peaceful. However this is only for tonight.

The Hyenas had been this plotting for a while, and the fires finally allowed them to push out the lions. They've now taken over the lions lands that were once lush and beautiful. They ravaged the last bits of land, From eating every scrap and bone left in sight, To destroying everything the lions had built. The pack of hyenas is massive, and run by the baddest of the bad.

Denmothers: If you're primarily a Denmother, this role involves helping take care of others cubs/pups, including your own occasionally, as other roles need someone to take care of their litters while they are gone, from time to time. if you have your hands full, feel free to decline, as we are open for other Denmothers that can also help, so another could be available.

That being said, feel free to take your cubs/pups with you while you do your tasks instead of leaving them with a denmother.
Training comes in multiple ways, including experience out with their pride/pack.

4. Hybrids are allowed! (Tiger/Lion/Leopard hybrids) and to be fair with the Hyenas, I will allow Painted Wild Dogs, and Ethiopian wolves in your pack.

5.No killing off anybody’s character unless you’ve discussed it with the other person. -edit, Also check to make sure it’s okay with the other person to be related to their characters as well. Just remembered I didn’t add this.

6. Few sentence replies are okay. Just try to give your RP partners enough to go off of. I’d prefer a paragraph or two for a response, but I completely understand being crunched for time and not being able.

Appearance: Listed above, A Large hybrid between a lion and a tiger. light orange coat with a darker orange pattern and a white undercoat. Yellow, almost piercing eyes. One of her ears has been battle scarred during a battle with the hyenas. She also has claw marks down her chin on the right side.
Tiki has something called Hybrid Vigor. This causes enhanced abilities in Hybrids, such as Quicker Movement, Heavier & Bigger bodies

(Fun fact, the World Guinness record for the biggest cat goes to a liger names Hercules, who is roughly 11 feet long and roughly 900 pounds. He was born in a litter with 3 other males cubs. Sinbad, Vulcan, and Zeus.)

Personality: Tiki is a bit of an outcast. She hangs out mostly on her own, but doesn’t mind being part of a crowd. She is a Liger that’s highly skilled in hunting but prefers to patrol, and help take care of cubs.
She is known to take on several roles in the pride. Shes mostly a Denmother, helping to raise, train, and protect the Cubs of the pride. Tiki will also take on the role of hunting, or in dire cases, the role of a warrior as well.

Personality: When it comes to his Pride, Winchester is a kind, gentle soul who would help any lion in need. When it comes to those who threaten his pride, He can be a very vicious cat. Winchester is quick and quiet on his feet, and will help hunt for the pride when there’s no current threat.

Biography: Winchester was once in a group of other tigers, including his mate, Jessabel. They once ruled the lands the lion pride settled in, along with several miles that they patrolled around it. Unfortunately, two months after Jessabel’s cubs were born, The group of tigers got caught out in the wildfires when they first started, separating the group. Winchester was the only one who stayed behind with his cubs, and presumably they’re the only four who made it out. Jessabel was who he looked for first, and she was the first one they found. Jessabel had succumbed to the fire and so had several of the other tigers. After a while, Instead of continuing the search, Winchester settled back at the watering hole. The land was untouched, had plenty of food and water. He decided to raise his cubs here.

I will say I don’t mind to start without major roles, what we can do is have gatherings once we get accepted forms in for new major roles. Appointing king, queen, deputy, etc I won’t make everyone attend gatherings though. This roleplay will grow at some point, so I’m sure we’ll have others join for the higher roles, so if we wanted to start posting in the roleplay thread itself I’m giving the go ahead.
