This guy came to me in a dream, I think I'm really lucky.
Also, the dream was 2~ days before a question for my boys if there's a 'baby wolf' out there to correspond with Mother Wolf. In short, yes, there is! I'll explain more when I get to that question..

TLDR; Faolan is a true Wyldling, exiled from his family for his weakness, found to be the chosen "child" of Mother Wolf by Lupa about 3-4~ years back.

Faolan is what may commonly be known as a "true" wyldling. Mother's Wyldlings were a troop of misfit individuals whom she took under her wing after the Wyldling race as a whole was wiped out. They are a completely separate entity, but you may see some similarities between Lupa and Faolan now.

Wyldlings, the race, were entirely separate from every other humanoid race in the Fey. Separate from elves, fiends, humans, dwarves, etc. They were strong and independent, with little issues claiming their own land and building their own cities.. The issue being, the elves and humans.

The Wyldlings were campaigned against about forty-three years B.T.E., (before the explusion), during the time Virion became the archivist for Sylveras' court. He stood adamantly against the persecution of this race, but with his dwindling focus on important issues and increasing focus on the Forbidden, he couldn't do much in the wake of the extermination. He regrets this very, very much.

While a very small portion of the Wyldlings remained, it was not enough for them to reconstitute their community in wake of consistent persecution. They became recluses, and traveled deep into the north and south of the fey to find their own ways of living.

Fast forward over 1000+ years, A.T.E., (after the expulsion), the small group of true Wyldlings in the northern marshes have a new set of twins. Faolan and Gaurwaith. Though being firstborn, Faolan was found to be considerably weaker than his twin counterpart, and attempts to grow his strength were not surmounted. Weakness in a Wyldling family is attributable to death, but Faolan--being the firstborn--perhaps was given a worse fate. His fangs--used as weapons for Wyldlings and also a sign of rank--were pulled, and he was sent off on his own.

It was after living around Ecthellis forest and Caerwyld that Faolan grew up, mingling intermittently with civilization and learned common and some manners. Ran into Lupa while the latter was hunting for poachers, and Lupa has kept him safely protected in his old camp up until now, when he felt it was a good time to have Faolan travel with him.

The main things I can say I remember from the dream I had with him, is
A; he, his father, and his brother had black hair.
B; his upper canines were removed.
C; when I woke up, I immediately thought "from the wound of my father's back"

Faolan was considered a thorn in his father's side, the weakness to his family. By exiling him, the wound was "patched" and Gaurwaith could become the new patriarch.

Wyldlings are recognized by their long dark clawed hands and feet, dew-claws on their inner ankles, shorter pointed ears, and very pronounced and sharp canines.
