Prompt: Pearl For June
If I had to pick a gemstone, I would pick the pearl. (I did indeed look it up and it is classified as a gemstone) A pearl is made through years and perhaps decades of hard work, packed into a neat, smooth little sphere. They are coveted as items of wealth and seen as a symbol of inner wisdom. In ancient Rome, where they also were thought to offer longevity to their owners. They are also interpreted to symbolize calmness, integrity, loyalty, purity, and serenity and hold healing properties. Even their colors were determined to mean something special. For example, white is innocence, while black is seen as protection.

Mawu's birthstone is absolutely a moonstone, meaning her birth month is June! While pearl and alexandrite are also June birthstones, the moonstone really suits her the best. The moonstone represents inner clarity, and a connection to the feminine. It is a symbol of light and hope and also encourages us to embrace new beginnings <3
