Featherstar walked into the camp, a ginger kit in her jaws. She'd walked back to camp alone, leaving her clanmates to complete the border patrol. She carried the kit into the nursery. "Lily, I found this kit while out with Mudstorm and Rockclaw. Do you think you could watch over the thing?"
"Of course," the queen mewed. She nudged the kit closer to her, and it settled next to her. It seemed to be younger than Lily's kits, but clearly able to eat prey. "Bramblekit, Tigerkit, come here. You have a sister now." Her two sons padded into the den; they'd been wrestling in the camp and their fur was dusty. As they sniffed the she-kit, Bramblekit asked, "Does she have a name?"
Lily thought for a moment. "Yes. Her name is Sunkit." The kit looked up at Lily, clearly approving of the name.
Featherstar blinked softly at Sunkit before looking at the two young toms. "Why don't you two go get her some prey, and then start teaching her about clan life?" The two brothers nodded eagerly before going to the fresh-kill pile. Featherstar began to leave the den, but looked over her shoulder one last time. "Welcome to FeatherClan, Sunkit." As she went back towards her den to rest while waiting for her patrol to return home, Oakpaw called out to her.
"Would you like me to check over Sunkit?"
Featherstar shook her head. "Let her rest for a little. Tigerkit and Bramblekit are bringing her prey, and I'm sure if anything is seriously wrong, Lily will let you know." The young tom bowed his head before returning to his den, and Featherstar continued to hers.

Sunkit stared after Featherstar. The she-cat seemed nice, and so did Lily. "Thank you for agreeing to take care of me," she said while turning to look at Lily.
"Of course, how could I deny a kit in need? I'm sure you'll like it here. And in a few days, I'm sure you'll be able to play with Bramblekit and Tigerkit." Lily purred and groomed Sunkit's fur. The she-kit rested her head on her paws, feeling warm and safe. She and Lily looked up when the two toms returned, prey in their jaws. They dropped it in front of the she-cats. Lily thanked them, and the two toms went back into the clearing to continue playing.

allegiance changes in a faraway neighborhood, a trio of siblings were captured by twolegs in an effort to reduce the population of stray cats in the city. after many, many miles of traveling, the twolegs released the littermates into the wild. disoriented and out of place, unsure of how they could ever return to their friends and fellow rogues in the city, they venture out into the windy moorland in an effort to find shelter or a recognizable landmark. finally, they came across a quickclan patrol, and cyanstar welcomed them into the clan to be fed and given shelter from an incoming storm. during their time sheltering in quickclan, they introduce themselves as crow, raven, and sparrow, and that they have come from a distant land. after learning about the newcomers, the clan also learns that they share a father with sagetuft's kits. over several days and weeks, sagetuft and her kits welcome the littermates into their family, and they are offered a permanent position within quickclan as warriors with new names: grosbeaksway (raven), mockingbirdcrest (crow), and thrasherswipe (sparrow)

dialga felt awful as the clan gathered back together with the rest of the clan at their temporary camp; nearly everyone had been minorly injured in one way or another, but luckily no one needed any herbs or major rest. kabuto was a small cat, and had basically fallen into a deep patch of snow; poor thing was freezing, but nothing a warm night's rest couldn't fix. stoutland had lost his footing and ended up stuck in the middle of a frozen pond, slipping and sliding his way back to the edge; just some numb pawpads. palkia had fearlessly, and foolishly, raced after the tom to try to help him, but she had raced over an already cracking section of ice that caused her to slip under the water briefly. fearow had an icicle stuck to her tail, but that wasn't really her fault; young kabuto found it a funny prank, but it wasn't so funny when the grumpy molly had to rip the frozen ice from her fur.

the next few weeks were really a blur, as the clan was making sure that everything was fully together before the time came; they had officially decided that on the sunrise after the first night of the fullmoon, the clan would begin its travel on to the next town.

Leafbare has come to a close and snow has begun to melt. Rain is more common which may lead to floods in water-based or low-lying territories.
Prey is only just beginning to return although kittings will run smoother and the chances of queens or kits dying during birth will begin to drop.
Loners, too, are beginning to explore clan territories which makes the odds of finding new cats higher than it otherwise would be.
