"The “three month rule” is used by lots of users to determine which pets are about equal in value for trading. That means that two pets are about equal for fair trade purposes if they are of the same rarity and within three months of each other in age. Like a rare dog from January 2012 could be fairly traded for another rare dog from March 2012. Idk if I explained that well but I hope it helps a little!"
