Pyjammies - also fondly known as "Jammies" - are a newly discovered species of jam-bellied critters bearing striking resemblances to a hybrid crossing of rabbits and other earth-bound species.
Pyjammies were originally discovered in a small cave in the Amazon, where it is believed that they adapted to their current snuggly sticky form through processing various sweet nectars and honeys, fruits and in some cases vegetables and storing it in a glassy-transparent membrane where it is stored for harsher climates or even hibernation.
These creatures tend to sleep up to 22 hours in a day, primarily living off of their jam bellies.
They were named for their constant want to sleep as well as their unique jam-filled bellies.

Their belly jam can be regurgitated and shared with other jammies if they feel a strong connection with the other jammy - this occurrence has only happened a few times with domesticated jammies, but it appears to be safe for human consumption and is wonderful on toast!
Each jammy's belly contents are unique!

Pyjammy's don't really have rarities as much as they have traits that tend to be limited to a few, but their traits can be broken up into four main categories based off of their cuddly levels.

Now, even though these traits are in separate categories, pyjammies are all unique in their own ways and can have multiple traits from multiple categories.

Pyjammies can sometimes have bits in their jam, like small strawberries or flowers that they eat to change the flavour of their jam.

1. Cuddlepaws
*Known to be the most snuggly of them all

Their most notable features are:

- Paws
- Fur
- Smaller animal ears (cat, bear, dog, bunny,
nothing past the shoulder)

2. Earthyhooves
*Tend to be more independent and want cuddles on their terms
Their most notable features are:

- Hooves
- longer ears (cow, goat, lops, etc)
- horns of all varieties
- fleece and longer fur

3. Cloudbeans
*Will sleep on your feet kind of independant jammies

- Flightless wings (webbed or feathered - vvv smol)
- feathers
- Scales
- talons (birb feet)
- beaks

4. Elemelons
*Mostly unknown because there are very few having these traits

- gills
- fins
- any supernatural powers
- inedible jam (toxic jam, acid based, element based, etc)
- shells
- inedible additional jam contents (gems, rocks, metals, etc)

✓Adopt up to twenty Pyjammies, including staff customs and offspring
✓Draw them as much as you like
✓Trade or gift a Pyjammy, but only after having it for a minimum of a week (nursery = 1 week minimum). Please do contact the archivist if this is the case.
✓You may add as many accessories to your Pyjammies as you would like. Changing the expression (within reason) is allowed too. (Please note that collars are there for anyone's use, as they are to show the bean has been adopted)
✓Roleplay with your Pyjammies. Go crazy (but no too crazy, ey.)
✓Pm me if there are any problems at all
✓Pm (sidekick goes here) if I am away and you need help desperately

✗Use your Pyjammies on any other species lines (Esp without expressed permission from the artist/owner of the other species)
✗ Do not mark this topic more than once. It is considered spam or bumping. Breaking this rule will result in a warning or strike.

✗ Pyjammies are not allowed to become your “fursona”
✗ You are not allowed to alter/change your Pyjammies' design in any way (This of course excludes if you have an item that would allow for this - e.g tail edit item)
✗ Editing beyond changing facial expressions and accessories is not allowed (Again, this excludes if you have an item to allow you to do so).

ＭＡＴＥＳ

↳ Pyjammies can be of any romantic or sexual orientation and have as many partners as they choose, and can be bred with any other gender to produce offspring (yay for imaginary species)
↳ Pyjammies can be bred up to three times in their lifetime
↳ The mate does not have to be the same for every breeding
↳ Incestuous relationships are NO
↳ Adult x young relationships are NO
↳ You are not allowed to message an artists about a breeding slot. Artists will open breeding slots on their terms.
↳ It takes two weeks before jammies can be grown (anyone is able to grow their bean)
↳ A breeding can result between 1-2 jammies(the number of offspring will be decided using a number generator) - see nursery guidelines
↳ Users must wait a minimum of one week before they can breed their Pyjammy after receiving it
↳ Users must wait two weeks after breeding their Pyjammies before they are allowed to breed again
↳ You may only request that the nursery artist rolls for mutations if you have an item that allows for this

↳ Currently only staff members may create customs
↳ Staff have an upon hire Rare and below that they may create themselves or request for another artist to do so
↳ Artists may turn down other staff's request
↳ Customs must be put under a cover until they are approved
↳ Customs can be claimed based on how many adopts the staff member has made / how long the staff member has been apart of the team for

Honourable Mentions System (HM's)

Q: How does it work?
A: Whenever an artist feels that a user deserves a shout out for their form, they have the opportunity to give that user an honourable mention.

Q: What does an honourable mention get me?
A: Through collecting HM's:

- 5 HM's gets you standard custom
- 10 HM's gets you a common custom
- 15 HM's gets you an uncommon custom
- 25 HM's gets you a rare custom
- 100 HM's gets a very rare custom
