This one skirts the edge of the clearing, vanishing within the tall grasses and beneath the low-hanging branches of tangled bushes. Their illusive figure can only be caught in the corner of one’s eye, seemingly flitting through the space with a mysterious ease and lack of distraction. They brush coats with strangers, turning an ear towards the recent news and spontaneous gossip, but flee before someone asks for their opinion. It’s hard to tell if they’re being a tease or not, but interest for this strange ghost-like creature has certainly been raised.

xxxxA pair of bright-colour eyes poke out of the bushes at the edge of the clearing for the gathering, surveying the cats before them. One is narrower than the other, and has less shine, but with its bright colour, it's still obviously distinctive.
xxxxHaving spotted someone their owner is interested in - perhaps they have a more interesting smell than most, or perhaps they were having a very interesting conversation - he steps out of the bushes, and leaps into the clearing, with a distinct yet gentle tinkle of the bell on his collar.
xxxxIt seems very out of place on this scarred tom.
xxxx"So what?" He'll ask anyone who questions the bell; he has a distinct accent, stressing all his consonants, but the "r"s especially. "I rule some filthy humans who think they're worth me paying attention to what they want. Their rules are stupid, anyway. There's no good reason to have to sit around on podiums all day and those humans they take me to see deserve the scratches they get."
xxxx"What are you looking at?" He'll ask anyone who stares too long at his short legs, baring his claws for them to see.
xxxxDespite his rough exterior, you can tell he purrs quietly at the slightest compliment - as long as it's not about his legs.
xxxx"Yeah, I might be a "kittypet" but I'm not wee and cushie. I'm very good at catching mice, especially the one with the long tail that connects to the grey box, and I'm extremely good at killing the curtain or couch beasts."
xxxxMost clan cats have no idea what "curtains" or "couches" are, but if asked, he certainly makes them sound intimidating.
xxxx"A clan code isn't for me, sorry. I make my own rules and forge my own path, and I don't need anyone telling me what to do. You know I got these scars fighting the last cat that tried to make me follow his ideas? You should have seen how he looked at the end of that."
xxxxHonestly, it mostly just seems like he's out of rules to break himself. Maybe there are rules that clan cats could break with him to scratch that itch..?
