Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and as horses for mounted officers.

Welcome to the the starting line for Endurance Trials!

Here, you may participate with your Trotters to win ribbons, items, and other perks!
Tours will be run every few days, and may or may not award items.
Entry will be closed for judging rolls, and the following tour will open upon posting results. new!!

There are two distance tours you may compete in;
50 mile tours, which have three vet checks.
100 mile tours, which have five vet checks.
A horse may only enter one type per tour opening.
All results will be posted shortly after the tour closes, and the following tour will open.

Each tour will have vet checks, where your horse must pass in order to continue.
Prior to the tours, a vet check will be done to be sure your horse is sound before the tour.
There is a 1/10 chance of failing this test. Failing this test results in disqualification.
There is no cooldown if your horse rolls Lame, you may enter the following tour.

The proceeding vet checks give a pass/fail roll for lameness or may impose a time dock, or a Good Condition score.
In the event your horse rolls lame, you will be disqualified, but may be awarded an item!
Both 50mi and 100mi tours have Good Condition rolls, where you will pass the checkpoint with no time docked.
50mi tours have 5, 10, and 15 minute time docks. 100mi tours have 15, 20, and 30 minute time docks.
At the end of each tour, all time docked will be added for a final score.
The winner will be the horse with the least amount of time needed to complete the tour!

In addition to winning a ribbon for your placement, those who meet the requirements below will be awarded perks!

3 First Place Ribbons - Automatic twin breeding
5 First Place Ribbons - championship ribbon + perks
10 First Place Ribbons - 25% chimeric boost breeding
20 First Place Ribbons - Free custom Voucher (Rare and below)

When a horse has placed first 5 times in a tour type, they will be awarded a Championship ribbon!
Championship Ribbons grant an eternal +10% Twin chance to that horse.
A horse may be awarded two Champion ribbons, 50mi and 100mi.
This perk does stack, so if breeding two Double Champions you have a whopping eternal 50% chance for twins!
Championship ribbons will be posted to their adopt page to avoid confusion among the artist team.

• Horses may only compete in one mile-type per round.
• Event races can be entered by one horse per user.
• Items, if held, must be listed as used when entering the race.
• Trials will remain open for a few days before results are up.
• Geldings are given a bonus of +15 minutes upon entering.
• You must have an updated stable in order to compete.
• Items are awarded for first through third places only.
• Horses may be entered consecutively; there is no cooldown.
• Event races will be held annually and will have prompts.

After some consideration on the rolling, I will not be leaving them open 24 hours after the first entry.
The tours will be open for a few days overall, and accept entries until it is closed and results posted.

Horses may only enter one type of tour per opening!
You can enter one horse in 50mi and another in 100mi, but the same horse cannot be in both at once.
Item winnings will begin at the posting of the next results, as the shop will be opened at that time.
