He hummed to himself, keeping his eyes on his toaster. Really she was supposed to be the rebel's toaster but by now he established a pretty good relationship with her in order to really call it his.
"A mental processor is like someone's brain. I have a mental processor, you have a mushy pink brain. Yeah?" he explained while looking over at her
"Only my brain has rules and things I have to follow. Like my brother, his mental processor is probably still functioning just fine. He has to follow rules to operate. If we break the rules, we eventually break the processor."
He sighed and thought about a more clear way to explain it
"Its like being in school. You have the ability to leave it at any time, but you suffer consequences. Lets just say early on in life I left school and now I'm an android with no rules. I can do whatever I want and the people who programmed me can't control me."
He smiled and set the toaster down, wringing the rag in his hands
"She's a little shy right now. Our wedding is coming up so I'll be sure to invite you then."
He wasn't about to out himself right then and there. It would be silly to ruin a conversation to admit he was marrying a toaster. Because honestly it was such a silly concept. An android marrying a toaster? I know, right? She's completely out of his league. It was amazing how such a perfect piece of machinery picked him.

He wasn't quite done with him then. The handshake was over and Rhys smiled at him and David smiled back. Which wasn't always necessarily a good thing. David almost never showed any sort of emotion. His grip on the man's arm didn't let up, and he squeezed a little harder while moving to look at his arm and admire it.
"This certainly is what I'm more interested in. Your machinery is quite advanced. Do you happen to know who made your arm?" he asked, not bothering to look at Rhys anymore
His focus was on the arm. He moved it how he wanted and looked at the fine details, the joints, the interesting internal parts.
"Because I'm sure you know that I myself am made of a few of the same parts. I'm just curious, you understand? I'm sure you have been as well. Many people who meet me are."
He let go of his arm and resumed his standing on his crutches, raising a single eyebrow as he watched the male in front of him
"I very much look forward to working with you as well. Now tell me a little more about yourself, Mister Larimer. I don't want to get too personal but the more the better, you understand?"
He sat down, his tone was light and playful as if they were just friends talking. However the words he was speaking wasn't so friendly. It was confusing to say the least.
