Deep within the ancient woods that these cats call home, there's a small tunnel in the ground. Having been afraid of the possibility that there might be badgers or foxes hiding within, nobody dared to venture inside. Now, however, far inside the twisting maze of tunnels that run under the forest, there's a small hollowed out cavern, with a large rock sat directly in the middle. This is where the different Tribes will meet in peace to share news and gossip every new moon. Several different small flowers that don't require much sunlight to bloom, such as moonflowers, starflowers, and peace lilies, have been planted in a circle around the edge of the cave. Each flower represents a different Tribe. The Tribe of Pouring Rain is represented by starflowers. The Tribe of Frozen Fields is represented by crocuses. The Tribe of Clear Skies is represented by fuchsia. And the Tribe of Jagged Lightning is represented by lily of the valley. The roof of the cave has small cracks that let just enough light seep in for these plants to blossom and survive.

Since these cats live in an enchanted forest, magic is readily available to them. They can harness different magic through different ways. For instance, if one was wanting to get in touch with fire magic, they would have an area set up for them to train, that contains small embers. Those who practice fire magic have to be very careful to not let the fire get out of hand. Each Tribe shares shrines for all the different types of magic, air, earth, nature, water, fire, light, and death, so as to make studying the magics in an ideal location easier. An air shrine would be located in a breezy clearing, and have small jars of clouds that a cat who was already adept in air magic would have left. An earth shrine would be located underground, and be surrounded by several different types of rocks and minerals. A nature shrine would be in the lushest section of forest, and covered in plants and insects. A water shrine would be near a body of water, and have small puddles dotting the area. A fire shrine would simply be located in a sandy clearing. Light shrines are in the highest places in the territory, and usually has a direct view of the sky. Death shrines are in the darkest, most remote edges of the territory, and are littered with the bones and corpses of small animals. These shrines let the magic channel itself directly into the cat, and so that learning magic can be easier.

Mossstar is pretty indifferent when it comes to water. He enjoys it sometimes, such as when he needs to cool off or clean, but he absolutely hates it when someone splashes it onto him randomly. He loves the rain though. The rain provides a constant, pitter patter sound that has a tendency to calm his nerves very easily. He can spend hours in the rain, just dancing around. It's pretty adorable, to everyone else at least. He finds it to be very refreshing after a long day, and always feels energized when a storm hits. As for swimming, he has the ability to, but he chooses not to most of the time. He enjoys it, but doesn't really see the need for it, especially since his territory is mostly made up of small streams that can't be swum. Occasionally he'll take a dip in the river that provides the boundary between his Tribe and the Tribe of Clear Skies, but those are usually when it's ridiculously hot.

Mossy has a deep, smooth voice. It sort of wraps around you and makes you feel safe. It's very quiet, and often has an unintended air of seriousness about it. It's very calming, and it draws cats to him. Unfortunately for them, he doesn't really like to talk much. Still, they hang around anyway in hopes that he'll humor them. His voice gets damaged pretty easily, so he doesn't talk a lot to protect it. He has a soft accent, somewhat similar to that of a Jersey or New York accent. It's barely noticeable most of the time, but it tends to come out on words such as walk, or never. Really most words that have an r in them.

When he's not feeling too great, he will push through with everything he has until he either passes out, or is put on forced bed rest. He's been called lazy several times in his youth, which has, unfortunately for him, translated into an unhealthy addiction to his work. He also doesn't like to show weakness to anyone, but even more so since he's been appointed leader. He's supposed to be a beacon of strength and support within his community, and in his mind, he can't fulfill that role if he's sick. He often overworks himself, and the medicine cat has to lecture him about the importance of taking a break every so often quite frequently.

1. If Mossstar were subject to 'human music', his favorite genre would be classical. His favorite artist would have been Beethoven.

2. Mossstar's fur is very light and thin. This proves to be very useful when it comes to cleaning, but it often leads to him getting sick during the cold season.

30/20

3. If he had read every single book that has ever been written over the course of human history, his favorite book would be a Sherlock Holmes book. His favorite author would be Charles Dickens.
