About Sleepy Beasties

Sleepy Beasties are extremely tiny animals which live between the realms of dream and the wake world. They seem to always sleep, but they can sense a lot of things going on around them with their glowing antennae, and they will often float around and lay down again in a different place. They have no bones and their bodies are extremely soft, light and fluffy, it feels a bit like touching a soft marshmallow.
Some people will carry one of these in pockets or tiny bags, this is said to always bring good dreams. One has to be very careful when doing so to not hurt the tiny being, so it's not generally recommended.
They seem to have no genders, so you can imagine them as being any gender you want and having any name you like. (They don't care as long as you are gentle and friendly to them.)

This is what these creatures look like, but they can have all colors and patterns imaginable. Their antennae and forehead crystals can also glow in all possible colors.


Rules for adopting
- You can order a new one anytime you want, please just wait until your previous order is finished. There are no more slots.
- don't rush me
- I use only a touchpad to draw, so please no elaborate lineart edits or extremely elaborate designs. I will do small lineart edits like pieces of jewelery, fangs, whiskers... just nothing exaggerated and no different poses.
- don't claim the artwork as your own.
- don't use outside of CS without asking me before. (saving to your own PC is ok.)

This post is for other artists offering their creations for adoption. The rules are basically the same as everywhere else, unless stated otherwise specifically by the artist:
- one adoption per user/litter. (This means you can adopt 2 Beasties if there are 2 litters, and so on.)
- the names of the litter Beasties are fixed.

Artists are allowed to claim outcomes from their own litters if these aren't claimed by someone else. They may also make as many Beasties as they want for themselves.
If you want to become an artist, send me a PM. Show me some examples of your digital art, there is no need for super-high quality, but it should at least look decent. You must be able to work with layers and transparency and to open .psd files.

Beasties have no fixed genders, but they can combine their energies to produce offspring. The outcomes will then have features of both parents, although it's completely random which features are inherited and in which form.

You have several ways to try this:
option 1) Breed 2 Beasties you adopted (either from litters or customs, doesn't matter).
option 2) Breed one of your adopted ones with one of the examples offered below.
option 3) One of your own and one owned by someone else - in this case you have to ask the owner of the other one before, and you need to accept if they say no.

rules and additional info:
- You can request one breeding per week/user.
- You can name the outcomes only once they are uploaded and posted.
- It is not possible to request specific features for outcomes, this is completely random. If you want a specific feature to re-appear, you should order more than one outcome to increase the chance.
- outcomes you got from breeding can be bred again, they count as normal outcomes. They will not be breedable with their siblings and parents, though. (I won't keep track of elaborate family trees, which will most likely not be needed anyway, but in case there are many breedings, I'll stick with simply the "siblings and parents" rule to make things easier to overlook.)
