Welcome to PARDOFELIS, an ARPG focused on the collection, breeding, raising and
character development of marbled cats (
Pardofelis marmorata).
This ARPG takes place in the same universe as most of my others- Arkylia!
Arkylia is a utopian fantasy world with no large-scale warfare. It is like a
forgotten realms world (that is, a D&D world), in a way- it houses all
manner of races, like elves, goblins, and tieflings, demons and deities,
kobalds and dragonborn- all races, except for true humans, which were
changed during a magical catastrophe nearly five millenia ago. Because
humans were an inherently non-magical race, when the world flowed over
with magic, their physical traits ended up merging with other nearby life-
creating what basically, to us, look like anthropomorphic characters, though
their degree of animal-ness can vary from person to person.
The marbled cat is a neat-threatened species in our world; in Arkylia, it's
situation was even more dire. Luckily, through their advanced magic and
technology, they can genetically recreate any animals they have samples of.
However, since they did not have the genetic diversity they needed to save
the marbled cat, they introduced some domestic cat genes into the pool.
This also accomplished another task: making the species more domesticated,
as well as more physically diverse.
