- thank you! i think orange really is his color. he does have an instagram! it's @thumper.dee

Are Assistant Dogs the same as Service Dogs where you are from? Never heard that term, only SDs and ESAs! Cute doggo. I'm currently in the process of getting my Service Dog as well c:
There's also a Service Dog/ESA thread here if you were interested: https://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2918508
- yep! in australia they're referred to as assistance dogs, they're the same as service dogs, just a different term. i wish you lots of luck with getting your dog! <3

Most of my teachers single me out and ignore me or put me in the back of my classes just because they don't like my dog. Justin has never done anything wrong, he's very focused and always on his best behavior. I had this problem at the last school I went to a few months ago. Kids were afraid of him because he's a GSD mix.
I can't say anything at my new school though, nobody will believe me.
- all i could think of would be to arrange a meeting with your principal, organise all of the laws around service dogs and discrimination against them, record any of the incidents at school, how the discrimination is affecting you, etc. maybe if they realize how serious it is and how it's affecting you they will work with you to fix it.
when we face discrimination here, we have the human rights commission where we can make a complaint, and they help us resolve the issues and come to an agreement. i'm not sure if the US (assuming you are there) has something similar, but you could look into it if you can't find an agreement at all.
