I'm literally already hoarding macaws, but I'm gonna need a separate hoard just for this wonderful friend

6 white, and not a single chick grew.
10 black, all grew
I really hate these macaws.

Total lop sided splits like these are why I hate splits so much.
It’s not fun it’s completely aggravating and annoying.

Black macaw-chicks - I had 2, 1 grew into each outcome. Nice!
White macaw-chicks - I had 4...... NONE of them grew tonight xD Such is life. I bet the other outcome will be just as pretty!!

But for now, to the trade thread. xD

Ahh yeah, it's frustrating to miss outcomes or get lots of doubles of a single one :c
But it's not the split growths' fault if you miss an outcome. What outcome a pet grows into is actually decided the very moment it is adopted^^ So even if two outcomes share a middle stage and look all the same to us, the database already knows they're different. Even if we had gotten 4 different chick stages, you still would have ended up with the same outcomes.

Of course, without split growths you might've known earlier that you missed a certain outcome and completed the set faster. But at the end of the day, we all found out at the same time (well, on-time adopters at least), so at least nobody else had an advantage either.

Ooo, I absolutely love the macaws! Meveh did a great job on them! Too bad all of mine grew into the first & second and thus I missed the third but can I just say I love the design? I mean look at the tiny stars, it's such a nice detail ;3;

The cats will not have a split, because we have 5 different kittens and an adopt limit of 7. Usually there are 2 less outcomes than the total adopt number (unless the litter is really large)
