What's with these little 2014 bunnies?

I'm trying to figure out where these two would go in my collection groups. it looks like foxes take up the 'other species' monthly adopt slot, so what's up with these little guys? they're listed as their own litter in september 2014. are they a special monthly adopt or smthin?

They were released specially along with some items to celebrate the Moon Festival, and are considered bunnies! :)
