It's supposedly one of the most popular puzzle games, but only, like, 6 of the games are localized (the newest localized game is coming out for the SNES Switch Online, it's Super Puyo Puyo 2 and the first time that an official western translation of SPP2 has ever been seen)
Also literally nobody knows what it is?? Everyone talks about how good Mean Bean Machine was but it's LITERALLY a retexture of Puyo Puyo, same with Kirby's Avalanche. I feel like because it's a SEGA game and there's so many other "great" SEGA games (Like Sonic is any better. Sonic could have ended at SA2 and it would be fine. SA2 is, in my opinion, one of the best games ever made, but after SA2 the whole Sonic franchise went to hell. Sorry i trailed off but yeah) it gets pushed aside, but whatever.
Edit: Correction. Super Puyo Puyo 2 is available on the SNES Switch Online, but it isn't translated. It's still in Japanese.
I LOVE PLAYING PUYO PUYO
I had Puyo Puyo Pop Fever on the Gamecube when I was little and played with my brother all the time. I'm surprised they put the game on the SNES switch app.

A lot of the anime I'm into is pretty obscure/old? I'm mostly into older and mature media. I can't seem to get myself into series that started less than 15 years ago. People talk about series like One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, Sword Art Online, and Full Metal Alchemist and I just sit there like :') Most of the newer, more "popular" anime I like usually had faded into obscurity or is overshadowed by other series (like Space Dandy or the original Dragon Ball respectively)
It's kind of a skill of mine to sit through really old and cheesy cartoons just fine and enjoy it. Honorable mention is Lupin III, cuz oh god it's been active since the 60's and been rebooted for god-knows-how many times. It's been doing better in the modern day but there's so much. If anyone ever tries to gets into it, I recommend being over 16 and not going in order like I tried to do.
