Species Information
Barakoa's are a dragon-like masked species found in various places hidden deep within Africa. No one knows exactly where they live, as they are rarely spotted out in the wild. Scientists managed to find a select few by deep immersion within their habitat, learning with their limited knowledge on how to fit in and become trusted. They do not plan to capture them, but rather train others to blend in and learn their culture to earn their friendship.
Key Known Traits
-Lifespan seems to be around 80-90 years, but more knowledge will be found as scientists observe them further.
-Barakoas are mute and cannot create sounds like normal animals do. It seems they may communicate telepathically perhaps.
-Are usually found alone or in groups of only around 3 or 4
-Tend to be very curious, yet scared creatures. They look from afar, but don't run unless they suspect danger
-Barakoas always wear their masks, and have only been spotted a couple times without them for some unknown cause at this moment. Perhaps getting to know them better will reveal a reason?
Appearance
-Most Barakoas are about the size of the average medium sized dog, while their lesser form being only a few inches smaller.
-They have very short fur on their bodies, besides the tufts of fur on their head, back, tail, and legs.
