Name: Frederick
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Personality:
Frederick is a dedicated and imaginative individual. Whenever he puts his mind to something he's bound to get it done. He's willing to take risks in order to achieve his dreams, although he certainly isn't reckless in any way at all. He will carefully evaluate risks before he takes them, which has been key to his success so far. Frederick jas a talent for knowing what risks are worth taking and what risks perhaps aren't worth taking. He is good at imagining scenarios that could happen as a result, although he often misses a few certain outcomes from time to time.
Frederick isn't the most sociable individual. He's usually rater quiet unless he's with his friends, but even then he isn't very loud. He's usually softly spoken, but he will raise his voice when pitching his ideas to someone. In general pitching his business ideas brings out a confidence in him that otherwise is almost never seen. He can be rather nervous from time to time and he isn't keen on talking to strangers outside of a business setting.
He dislikes loud and crowded areas. Frederick can deal with these sort of settings for a short amount of time but living in the city was too stressful. He moved to a village in Newlands seeking a calmer environment. He much prefers his small village house to his large city apartment, however he still owns the apartment so when he travels to the city for business he doesn't have to book a hotel. He hates the unfamiliarity of hotels and because they make him even more nervous that usual he prefers to avoid them at all costs if he can.
He will force himself to socialise and try to make friends when visiting a new area so he can ask to stay at their house whenever he returns. This strategy works incredibly well for Frederick, plus he usually keeps these frienships for years. Its one of the few ways he actually makes friends. He does feel a little guilty about doing this, but when he weighs up the option of staying in a hotel or staying somewhere familiar he overcomes this guilt fairly easily. His personal excuse to himself is that he's maintained frienships long distance, individuals he genuinely cares about, and staying at their house increases the time he can spend with them, as in the daytime he's in business meetings (on most days at least) .
History:
Frederick was born in a city hospitL to an average family. They lived in various small flats throughout his childhood, mostly moving whenever his father found a new job opportunity. His mother would usually find lower paid jobs near to wherever her husband went. The family didn't have much money at first but through taking higher paid job offers over and over and living the cheapest lifestyle they possibly could they ended up with a decent amount of saved money by the time Frederick was a teen.
In school Frederick didn't have much going for him. He was neither good academically nor was he loud & popular. He usually went unnoticed, although he was picked out by some students for his 'stupidity' on occasion. Thankfully he wasn't bullied except on one occasion, but that didn't last more than a few months. The only things Frederick excelled at was drama and business studies, although he did personally also enjoy art & music he wasn't very talented at either. He started to find out about his abilities in business at around the middle of high school. From thers he studied business and for a while did a few art courses, although he dropped art in the end. He continued to draw in his free time, he was still not very good at art but he was good enough to draw depictions of his ideas, which was great for showing a visual representation of his ideas.
He purchased his first apartment at the age of 19. At the age of 21 (literally a few weeks after his birthday) he sold his old apartment and purchased his current one.
He moved out of the city when he was 22. He had been thinking of moving for a year after travelling to a village in Newlands to talk with one of the villagers about their annual pie eating contest. The village wanted to turn the village tradition into an event open for villagers from newrby villages to also attend. Frederick still kept his apartment in the city, although he considered selling it.
Extra(s):
He owns a cinema. The cinema is small and was built by himself (with the help of some friends). The ticket prices are incredibly cheap, although the snacks are a little pricey. In comparison to other cinemas in the city the snacks are still decently priced. It doesn't really matter however since Frederick owns the only cinema in the entire span of newlands. His only possible business rival is only closer to one village and even then most villager travel to his cinema, since its drastically cheaper.
Frederick has dreams of also opening a themepark one day, so he's saving up a lot for that. He will have it built further away from newlands as he doesn't want to makd the villages an area of interest to developers. After all, he moved into one of the villages because he preferred being away from the large city.
He draws in his free time. In the past few years he has really made an effort to improve his artwork by studying and practicing in his free time. As a result he has improved a lot recently. He enjoys art as a hobby.
