One of the most memorable things Urchinpaw has always been told, whether it be from his parents, siblings, friends, or mentor, Sharkdash, was that he was supposed to love himself. Part of being a good clanmate is to love your clanmates as if they are your closest kin, but you are also supposed to love and respect yourself. You can strive for improvement but you can't call yourself out for things you can not change, like your appearance or family. The best thing to do is to come to terms with these things and accept that they don't make you who you are. That's up to you to decide. Urchinpaw still struggles to understand this, he sees himself as less than his clanmates and it puts him into a position where he starts to isolate himself and struggles to hold conversations and friendships, believing another cat always has something better to do then talk or hang out around him. However, anyone who knows Urchinpaw and his struggles makes sure they take time out their day to tell the young cat how special he is, how he will always be destined for greatness if he believes in himself, and how he should love himself to the cat he is, not the cats others tell him to be. It's a lesson Urchinpaw is still struggling to learn, but a very important one in his future. It's a lesson he will come to terms with one day.

Prompt;; The most memorable thing Elm's been taught is that failure is necessary for growth. His mentor helped him learn and understand that stagnating in this colony is a death wish and that to live, you need to push your boundaries and test things out. Failure helps you learn what you can and cannot do, like swimming in the river or being unable to catch that gopher no matter how hard you run or how quick you get your claws into it's skin. And accepting that failure means you're more mature than you were before you experienced it. (It's all a part of growing up and you need to welcome it with open arms.)

Prompt (172 words);; Fawnpaw's most memorable lesson was that you can't always rely on others to do things for you. Sometimes you have to do things yourself. Fawnpaw was used to relying on others to do things for her and she would always expect them to do things for her. One day though, another apprentice said they'd to her elder duties for her, but didn't deliver on the promise, causing her to get in trouble with her mentor. Another more serious time, that she will always remember and keep in the back of her mind, is the time during a camp invasion, an enemy went straight for her, and a clan mate yelled to her that they'd help her, but wasn't able to arrive on time, causing her to get quite injured. Fawnpaw struggled to fight against her opponent, but she managed. From that point forward, she vowed to never rely on others to do things for her and she will always do something herself if she wants it to be done right and well.
