Prompt;; stormserpent doesn't feel her name fits her. She was born during a storm, she doesn't mind that part but serpent? She hates snakes! They are untrustworthy, sneaky, and worst of all; cold blooded. Stormserpent think of herself as a very warm and kind cat. Not snake like whatsoever.

Prompt;; Rainwhisper has grown to cherish her name, she speaks soft and was born on a rainy night, the wind howled seemingly speaking as it wisped around the newbord kit. Her mouth opened letting out a hushed almost silent mewl. Her parents feeling as though something was wrong, left her alone in the cold rainy night. An scout found her taking her to seaclan where she was nursed and cared for. Still now her meow is almost silent but her actions speak louder.

Lavender despises her name. To her it’s a cruel reminder of her clumsiness, she had fallen a lot when she was a kit and the name had stuck as a joke. She couldn’t remember how many times she was teased because of it, her clumsiness wasn’t even a key feature to her! Whilst she enjoys the prefix of her name, lavender is a nice plant that calms over cats around her- exactly her ideal reputation - she still wished that her name would be something cooler. Something that makes her stand out. Defiantly something that doesn’t point out her faults.

Bubblepaw likes her prefix for the most part, as she has never heard of a cat with the name "Bubble." She believes it actually fits her bubbly and excitable personality very well, so she thinks Briarstar was wise in choosing it.

She doesn't like her suffix though. "Paw," is the mark of an apprentice and she can't wait to be a warrior, especially since she believes she is ready to be one due to her rough past as a rogue in a human city. Life was hard. However, her age doesn't permit it so she must undergo more training.

A small smirk plays at the edges of Charity's expression whenever she hears someone say her name - especially cats that don't know her. The name deceives cats, and Charity loves that. They expect her to be kind, caring, or at least gentle in some way, but you certainly can't judge a book by it's cover. Charity is a powerhouse, leading with a firm paw and taking no disrespect from any cat. She is not above using her strength, and does not show mercy in battle.

She prefers that others don't know who she actually is. It is like a game. Charity will gladly keep her name for a long, long time. Nothing is more fun than deceiving cats.

In the beginning, he had felt incredibly insecure about his name. Who wouldn't be when you had the prefix 'Newt'. It made him feel small and vulnerable. Especially when some of his clanmates began to tease him for it. Causing him to be incredibly self-conscious about his name. It didn't help that his suffix 'stream' was a tiny bit ironic. Considering the fact that it had been given to him for his calm personality. When in reality he was anything but calm. In fact, he was known by his clanmates to be quite anxious and easily timid. Therefore sees his suffix as being some sort of joke.

However, as time went by, he began to slowly accept his name. A process that was only increased when his clanmates helped him realise his name wasn't something to feel insecure about. 'Newt' was no longer a prefix he felt vulnerable about. In fact, he slowly came to realise that his prefix merely represented his willingness to both adapt and change within a certain environment or situation. The same went for 'Stream'. He no longer viewed it as being ironic, since he now realises that his suffix was actually given to him in honour of his constantly shifting moods. Much like how a stream can go from being calm and gentle, to being fast and fierce within a heart beat. In other words, he has come to feel prideful and accepting of his name. For it helped him realise that he was much more than just a timid and anxious cat.
