Prompt: When Adrian was born, she was given a cliche name; Darkkit. As she grew older and became Darkpaw in her previous clan, she grew frustrated with this name. She wanted a name that would match her, but perhaps more discreetly. And so, she turned to the kittypets of her old two-leg city. She began to ask them about names, and eventually, her older mentor named Carys, who hung around the dumpsters near two-leg restaurants, gave her the perfect name idea; Adrian.

Adrian asked what the name meant, and Carys merely told her it meant something dark, yet the actual meaning was quite literally dark. Carys suggested this name not because of Adrian's pelt, but because of her dark nature when it comes to jokes. She frequently makes jokes about graves, and often mocks Starclan and the Dark Forest due to Tempest's influence on her. Carys found it too fitting to pass up, and Adrian herself became fond of the name, changing her identity to suit what she pictured herself as better.
