the night and the moon
the ocean, the night's song

i fell in love with broken glass,
silver eyes,
 the orange
 and red
 and pink
 and blue
 and black
   skies
and a life with no lies and only truths.

i fell in love with the forest sounds,
simple and complex jewelry,
 and broken mirrors
 and black cats
 and fridays that land on the 13th
    and bad luck and good luck
and poetic chemistry and red gems

i fell in love with happy endings
 and art galleries
 and paintings
 and sculptures
    and art
and eerie memories and nostalgic laughs

i fell in love today, with life,
with you, with me.

  because i finally understand that my life is worth something
    that this is worth fighting for
      and everything i wish to have
        is worth fighting
          the war
