favorite flower: baby's breath

explanation: Avery loves the soft white flowers and has a passion for growing them. Right outside her window she has a tiny plot of dirt that she has turned into a fluffy white garden of baby's breath. When it's at it's full bloom she plucks a few sprigs and gives them away to friends, as a way of showing them her affection. (She isn't very outgoing and is quite sheepish towards others) Chances are if you receive an anonymous bundle of tiny pale flowers, they're from Avery.

favorite food: glazed lemon lavender scones

explanation: Avery has a taste for simple foods. Above all she loves to make and snack on glazed lemon lavender scones. A delicious treat with a recipe passed down from her great great grandmother, she typically makes them in the springtime. They're just the right amount of sweet with a citrusy flavor, and the lavender brings in a light and floral taste. Usually she pairs them with a nice chamomile tea, but occasionally she will make a batch of fresh lemonade. Avery is all about traditions, and has plans to pass on the recipe and the art of making these particular scones with her some-day children.

favorite drink: citrus infused water

explanation: A light, gently flavored citrus water is just the ticket no matter what, according to Avery. With no sweetener involved, this water has a slightly tart taste and if you're used to sweet drinks it may take a while to get used to. Most often, Avery will layer the different fruit slices to make a rainbow of color, just to make it look fun to drink. Starting with a blood orange, then a regular orange. Next a few slices of lemon and topping it off with some lime! It's not unusual for her to pick one of the fruits when she's made herself a glass and squeeze a few drops of the juice into the water, just to give it more of a fruity flavor.

Neva’s favorite flower is the maxillaria tenuifolia (lol say that 5 times fast). She likes the look of it and she thinks it has a unique shape.
[ favorite food ]

Nevada’s favorite food is gulab jamun which is a milk-solid-based sweet from the Indian subcontinent, most commonly found in India, Pakistan, Nepal, as well as many other countries. Neva loves gulab because it tastes like heaven. Picture a pancake rolled into a ball and doused in a sweet sauce. Literal perfection.
Eva’s grandfather, Arjun, is a rathi cow, which is a breed of cattle indigenous to India. When her grandfather was transported to Mexico, he brought the lovely foods with him to share with his future grandmoo’s. Her and her grandfather would make and eat gulab jamun every Saturday night and it was a tradition up until he passed. Nevada continues to make it to preserve the tradition and with every tasty bite, it’s brings back a lovely memory of her grandfather.

You cannot go wrong with the creamy, sweet taste of horchata. Horchata is traditionally a rice based milk with cinnamon and vanilla. The sweet taste of horchata is perfect on a summer’s day or after a meal with the family. Nevada has fond memories of horchata, as she grew up drinking it and it brings her back to the days where life was so carefree. Her grandmother would always make it for her and Neva swears that no one’s horchata can compare to her grandmothers.

explanation: She just loves the alps and to talk a walk on the meadows and collect these flowers. She adores them for being so fluffy. And with fluffy I mean soooooooo incredibly fluffy!!!!!!

explanation: She loves rice noodles with the mushroom soja sauce, broccoli and mushrooms. Often she it’s it with a bit lemon juice because she also loves sour things, but not too sour.

explanation: Mali Loves strawberry milkshakes because she can just pretend it isn’t bad and it’s even healthy because they’re strawberries in it. She often even drinks it with a bit of chocolate sauce to make it a little more sweeter because she loves sweet things.

The "Skeleton Flower"

Gianna was always a fan of spring rain. Not for it's smell on the breeze, or for the puddles, but she loved it for what it did to her flowers.

Gianna has always adored Skeleton flowers, for their hidden poetry. In sunlight they remain as white as the snow, however their mask washes away with the rains, leaving behind a clear skeleton of who they truly are. Gianna loves watching the opaque petals slowly turn transparent every time she waters them, and when an important celebration comes up, she loves to shine soft blue and yellow LD lights under the vases, making her own flower lights.

Gianna loves Baked potato! Give her some fresh herbs and spices to put on top, and she will be one happy heifer! Baked potatoes were a family favorite when her father was alive, and she tries to keep his memory alive by sharing his recipe with her friends!
