Reedstar carried the soft fruit over the border to where the two cats usually met. He spotted his companion and a smile crept onto his lips. Riptide saw him and hurried to him as well. “What’s that?” The white warrior asked, prodding the soft bundle in Reedstar’s mouth. The leader smiled at dropped it at her paws. “It’s a statement. We make such a great pair!” He purred. Riptide roller her eyes and brushed the pear with her tail. “Dork.” She giggled before nuzzling him.
