What Are Amarogs?

Amarogs are a closed adoptable non-profit species. They are wolf-like with large, muscular forearms, heavy tails, and hind legs made of a strange hard shadow. They are a cursed species found all around the world, forming packs or remaining solitary.

Since Amarogs are a closed species, you cannot simply make one of your own. Please read the species rules and information to learn about how to adopt one, or how to obtain a custom.

What are Starters and Why are they Rolled?

There are two types of Amarog stages: geno and import.
An Import is what you usually think of - a designed character posted on the main/nursery thread that is owned, or is involved in some type of competition.
A geno is a code for an import - a series of letters which indicate the traits of the Amarog - from base and eye color, to how healthy it is.

All starters are genos! Genos won't be instantly transferred into the species. If you get a geno you don't like, you can hold onto it (an adoption center will be opened after the starter rolls which will allow you to trade the geno for in-game currency (bucks)) or give it away. If you want to use your geno, you will have to post the proper form on the home page to have it designed by an artist.

How Does it Work?

We will be going in sets of ten, meaning that when ten people post a starter form it will be temporarily closed as CyberDragon725 and I work to roll the starters. When a post is made with the starter results, the next ten will be able to post. This cycle will continue a total of five times!

(Note: Amarogs are cursed humans - as can be read in the species lore. One method of cursing is by being bitten, thus where the phrase "I found a fang" comes from. Fangs are rare and will become very scarce after the first 50, as they will soon take the place of MYO tickets. This does not mean you can design your starter.)
