Plot
Victoria's Supernatural Sanctuary is a huge mansion/manor located deep in the forest, far from other human life. It's home to many different creatures with a wide variety of magical abilities. They're all here for different reasons. Some come to get away from humans who don't always get along with our kind. Others to escape their past and start a new life somewhere safe. Many people come and go, while others stay here forever. Every year has its story with its own drama going on between the inhabitants. What will happen this year?

A new day began as the sun rose and the inhabitants of the sanctuary began to stir, most likely heading to the kitchen for breakfast, or avoiding the kitchen entirely in favor of doing other things that morning...

Vanessa opened her door, peering into the hallway before stepping out to go to the kitchen. She hadn't been there for very long, but she knew it sometimes got busy in the morning with people going in and out to get food. Nessa began rummaging for strawberries in the fridge, oblivious to the fact that she was making a bit of a ruckus as she pushed things around.

Tatum had always been an early riser. The fact that she just learned of her emotional manipulation abilities certainly helped her get out of bed and rush out of her room to practice. Unfortunately, no one else was really awake when she got up, so she went outside to see if she could practice on the timid rabbit that she had seen hopping around the day before. Sitting with her legs crossed in the grass, Tatum concentrated on sending out feelings of trust and tranquility. It wasn't hard for Tatum herself to feel at peace, either, with the clear skies, warm weather, and the slight breeze that picked up every now and again.

Boris hadn't done much throughout the night and didn't feel like going to sleep just yet. He went into the kitchen as the sun began to rise. In the kitchen, he ran into Vanessa as she rummaged through the fridge and grabbing strawberries from the fridge. "Anything good in there?" Boris smiled. He never bothered to hide his fangs; he just hoped others weren't bothered by them.

Lee was in bed just looking at her ceiling. She had those glow in the dark stars on her ceiling. She always had them ever since she was a little kid. She was thinking about how her parents and how they just let her go. She thought about that every night. Every night she would cry herself to sleep. She can control her powers a little bit so when she was crying she made sure it wasn’t raining. She stopped crying and felt okay for once. And then she woke up.

As always Ellie would stay up all night looking at people and looking in the mirror trying to turn herself into them. She made her self turn into Julia Roberts. She really wanted to prank the other people in the mansion, but everyone knew there were shapeshifters in the home to that would never work. She closed her laptop and tried to sleep. But she never could, only if Lee was around her. Her and Lee were kind of friends but she felt at home with her. She wonder what other kids where doing. But as always she slept in. Then she woke up to take a shower.

Pari pretty much just woke up. She didn't get much sleep the night before due to hanging out with Vlad, but she was used to that so she could still function alright. She yawned as she got out of bed and put a comfy sweatshirt on. She also rebraided her hair and grabbed her phone. She left the room, but decided she wasn't hungry enough for food yet, so she wandered about the halls looking through the windows. As doing so, she sees a younger girl with dirty-blonde hair sitting on the ground near a rabbit. She didn't go up to the girl, nor did she say anything. She could tell the girl was concentrating on something, and she didn't want to get in the way.

Drake wandered into the kitchen, briefly glancing over towards the two that were by the fridge. As they seemed busy, he decided not to bother them - not that he was ever willing to start a conversation anyway - and instead went to one of the cupboards to find something to eat. He was pleased that he could change into his human form and back at will - it made things a lot easier while on the land, obviously. But he did miss the sea, and his home. He tried not to let anyone know that, though. He didn't want anyone's pity.

Pandora had already been awake before most of the others, and had also already eaten. So now, she was outside, in the lake, in her mermaid form. The water was not salty like the sea, so she wasn't very sure about whether or not she liked it. But it was either this, or the swimming pool, so she guessed that she couldn't complain. She swam, diving down to the depths of the lake, exploring what little there was to explore, and seeing the small creatures that were living in the lake. It didn't quite feel like home, but it was enough.

Lee got out of bed and yawned, she went and got her towel and went to get a shower. After she got the shower she forgot to get her clothes from her room so she and to go back and get them while trying to get her clothes she actually swung her arm and made a flower vase fall and smash. It was the loudest sound. She made a thunder sound with her powers and made sure she cleaned it up also using her powers. And then ran into her room.
