connor is the hard-headed leader of the grounders. well, joint leader, though he'd never admit it. he knows very little about the conspiracies to do with the ark, and doesn't listen to the rumours that the chancellor has a plan. he has a family on the ark, and so wants to genuinely complete their mission and report back to them so that they can come down to earth and live safely. he is loyal to the 100 and wishes to keep them all together and safe, but if someone jeopardises their mission he isn't afraid to make the tough decisions. connor is also largely distrustful of the grounders. his policy is 'better safe than sorry' when it comes to the safety of civilians. most of his plans follow that rule, because he prioritises his people over peace with the grounders.
