“why would i believe in ghosts? w-what makes you think that??” mia manages to get out a forced laugh. is she sweating? mia stepped backwards and towards her front porch. “now uhh .. i’m just gonna..” she opens the front door, and you follow close behind. “i - sorry, you cant come in..” she steps backwards into her house, and suddenly slips on something. she falls on her stomach, and the door flies open, revealing bookcases full of jars. each jar has a tiny ghost in it. you gasp, “ghosts???” mia whips her head around. “uh- how did those get there??” she laughs nervously again. you shriek and run off.

there is no such things as 'ghosts'. it is a term used by those who are not connected to the spirit world. as a medium, i am often referred to as being 'in between' the world of the living and the world of the dead. our spiritual universe is no horror movie, it is simply misunderstood.

in light of your silly question, i will educate you. it is the least i can do to spread my word. all living things, from the beginning of time, exist now in a world far beyond our reach. it is not tangible, not visible, but as the souls use my body to speak, i can feel. there is a clear language barrier. there is no true language they speak, only images, memories, sensations. through this i am able to deliver their message.

all things have souls, even those you do not see as sentient. a redwood has a soul, it cannot communicate through memories or images, but it has an energy. life is not to be taken for granted, but death is not to be feared.

blowers, she was ready. Well. That was a lie. She
wasn't ready at all when she finally found a ghost.
The ghost possessed her inside and out, and from
then on, her demeanor changed even when the
ghost left. From the lould, enthusiastic, blunt girl
she was before shrunk into a golden dusted funeral
for the living. She was now quiet and reserved.
Not shy, but scared to make a sound. Observent
was the new word to describe her. Since then,
dust has been Having nightmares everyday.
Black smoke shifted into a white room.
A whisper being thrown.
And black running onto the walls revealing Mirrors lined up across the room

Reflecting the thing that lead her into the state she is in now
The ghost.
And a scream that can be heard for miles that no one notices.
