While I've been slacking art, I have been however thinking of effects in skills & traits!
I'm thinking adding levels + skills then the skills can be put towards defeating
intruders possibly of their planet or even competitions of sorts!
Each Ailynquine will start out with a base amount of points (which is unknown for now until I plot out enough skills)
I don't think it's harmful to start with a smaller amount of skills & traits as more can be added over time.
No Ailynquine will start out with every skill, as they'd have to learn it and start it from 0%/0Points and whatever.
However there are some skills and traits every Ailynquine or almost every Ailynquine will have.
Points might be divided for different types of skills/traits for base. That way one doesn't have to end up slow on land,
because it's got most it's base points on other things.
I'm still trying to think out all my ideas, but you'll find everything I've been working on (that'll be changed dramatically over time)

Here is an example that'll likely stick
Water can swim quick and long, obviously... while any land type may struggle, and Volcanic can't swim as it would harm them.
So Volcanic won't even have the skill for swimming.
Water will automatically have "Swim Steady Pace" and can earn +5 Min per Point, While Land +30 Sec per point.
Land will automatically have "Run Steady Pace" and can earn +5 Min per Point, While Water +30 Sec per point.
I think this is fair maybe even the minutes are big. I might make a base speed range all can start with, that split with,
some other traits for their type. Then from there they can just earn more points towards those traits.
There will be a daily system that you post on your Ailynquine to obtain those extra points.
This will be explained later when everything is official!
