S’mores Brownies

S'mores brownies start with a graham cracker bottom, brownie in the middle, and are topped with gooey marshmallows. You get the delicious flavor of s'mores but in brownie form!
Servings: 15 -18

Ingredients

4-5 whole graham crackers
prepared brownie batter (you can use a boxed mix, and add ingredients called for on box)
2 cups mini marshmallows
2 Hersheys bars

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a 9x9 or 11x7 baking dish
Break each of your graham crackers into the 4 pieces on their lines.
Line baking dish with the graham cracker pieces.
Pour brownie batter evenly over the top of your graham cracker pieces.
Bake in oven according to brownie mix directions.
Remove from oven and cover with marshmallows.
Sprinkle with 1 graham cracker crushed into small pieces and chocolate bars chopped up.
Return to oven and turn heat to broil. Broil for about 2 minutes until marshmallows turn golden brown (watch closely!).

Hello everyone!

First, I’d like to say that this was super fun to judge- I love s’mores myself, and now I have a great assortment of creative recipes, so thank you! A lot of crazy stuff, like pb&j and bacon was included, but I’m sure they all taste great regardless.

So with that, I’ll be giving an HM to everyone with a completed form! You all put in noticeable effort.

That being said, a few people went above and beyond with the prompt, creating stories for the recipe and adding depth & character to such an open assignment! For that, I’d like to give Lorne_Purnima a RU for their hard work.

Finally, there was a form I had to keep going back to, one that caught my eye from the beginning. In the form, they shaped the recipe into a full blown story to interact with the lost camper, going further than I anticipated this prompt ever would. I’d like to award Blumoonwolf this adopt, and look forward to seeing both Soro, as well as all the entrants into this adopt, around the community in the future <33
