Pet date glitch?

Just a small question, no issue or anything, just wanted to point out that my tess guinea pig is from 2010, and no matter what group i put it into, it is near the 2017 pets? It is supposed to be near the end of the list because it is form 2010?

Usually in this case what has happened is that the pet has been ‘recreated.’

Pets are sorted by their id number, not by date. If a pet was involved in a scam and was traded too much to be returned, an admin will recreate the pet for the person who was scammed. Thus it’s the same ‘pet’ with the same date adopted, but a new ID number.
