personality & history;

Intelligent, serious, and task-oriented, Newton is one for completing his task at all costs. He is not brand new off the shelf, however, so he has some minor bumps that may need fixing (i.e. he can understand humor, can show empathy, can become frustrated, shows human-ish emotions). He has a very crisp, concise speaking manner, so that it is always easy to understand him under stressful conditions.
Created after the "Connor" model RK800 was proven to be dysfunctional and was lost to the Uprising in Detroit, Android model A-600 was created in its stead. A more ruthless version of the RK800, he is upgraded with all of the most advantageous software. He is equipped with: forensic intelligence and scene reconstruction, psychological manipulation, combat skills, and voice manipulation. He also has the added software of: being able to hack into encrypted software and basic cloning manipulation (I.E. can temporarily change his appearance).
However, he is not a superhuman. He does not have the unlimited capacity of A-600's to his disposal. To limit possibility of a mass uprising (like with the RK800's), he only has a select handful of five. He is on his third body at the beginning of this roleplay- his first two died in shootouts pre-roleplay.

zoya bennett- he is told that she was his investigative partner. after his last "death" and his memory reupload, he doesn't remember much of their formally- positive relationship. neutral-positive.

RK200 [aiden]- he is the main target that he had been instructed to take down. he has no feeling towards anything, but he knows that this android is "defective" and must be taken down. negative- target. [admires his tenacity and his gentleness towards others- wishes to learn the same.]
melanie young- a secondary target is all that she is- he cannot understand why a human would help her android do such a task. negative- target. [is sorrowful of her depression. cannot fully understand it, but he tries.]

AX313 [riley]- tasked to work with this android whenever it should occur, he doesn't have any negative feelings towards her. it is only a professional relationship- little to nothing else. neutral-positive. [finds her quiet and reserved attitude endearing and makes him ask questions.]
seren prince- her efficiency and speed at a task is admirable to this android. however, he can find her a bit. . . abrasive. neutral. [he believes that she should speak openly about her emotions and what she is feeling.]

august- he is simply a target. he cannot understand why he is diverting his programming, and finds him to be a target. [b]negative- small target. [he wants some of that overconfidence.] [/b]
genevieve mcnamara- her rich-girl attitude and her vindictive nature puts him on edge. she is a target, after all. pays her little-to-no mind. negative- small target. [even though she is opposite of what he is, he wants to learn how to save things and finds pride in her animal activism.]

aiden is a RK200 model android, specifically designed for house
keeping and cooking purposes. however, he was bought by lanie
to be a caretaker. he was originally tasked with making sure she
ate, slept, bathed, and most importantly, supported her hobbies
and love of art. aiden was, and still is, treated like her family
member. due to lanies treatment, aiden learned to express him-
self and he mostly lives a 'free' life compared to other androids.
aiden, being observant as usual, began to notice lanie's compassion
towards any living thing, even androids. this rubbed off an aiden,
and ultimately led to where the pair are now; the leaders of the
android 'revolution'. when aiden began to become... 'self aware',
he expected lanie to disown him or give him back to cyberlife, but
instead, she supported him and together they built a sanctuary for
androids who just want to be free and given equal rights.

aiden is rather tall and thin. he stands at about 6'1, with little to
no muscle, for he was not designed to carry out heavy tasks. he
has usually curly, brown hair and pale green eyes. he has the led
on the right side of his head that shows his 'mental state'.

melanie, as a child, was diagnosed with clinical
depression. among her many unhealthy coping
methods, she clung to art early on and often us
ed it as a secret expression of herself. when she
went to college for a fine arts degree, she prom
ised herself she would take care of herself, but
her life soon spiraled out of control so that she
hardly ate and never left her computer, which s
he used to make her art. she realized her situat
ion and soon bought an android after saving as
much money as she could, reasoning that any in
teraction was good interaction and he could hel
p her take care of herself. she treated him more
like family than anything else, and appreciated
everything he did.

when at her best, melanie is a fun, easy-going
girl with a propensity for coming up with jokes
and making people laugh. she is always polite
and kind to strangers and makes sure to say 'pl
ease' and 'thank you' no matter who she is spea
king to, but she tends to come off as air-heade
d and ditzy. of course, when at her worst, mela
nie is self-loathing, pitiful, and pathetic, with l
ittle motivation or drive and a tendency to mak
e disturbing jokes that take shots at herself sp
ecifically. while she can get into funks, she is o
ften level-headed and thinks far ahead, with a
love for everybody—android, human, or otherw
ise—and a want to make the world a better pla
ce. she is incredibly empathetic and could never
turn away from anyone in need. when walking
on sidewalks, she even tends to help along bugs
and insects should she see them suffering. she
strives to relieve suffering wherever she sees it.

genevieve was born into wealth, her family always having been considered the upper half of
society. because of this, she's a little aloof and sheltered, the range of people she's had to
associate with mostly being uppercrust heirs like herself. from a young age, she's been tr
ained to be ambitious and detail-oriented. despite her cushy status, she never really got
a chance to have a typical childhood. genevieve has been a part of the game since day on
e, learning how to be sociable and careful so as to walk in her family's footsteps as trends
etters and well-regarded people. naturally, she's developed a competitive, sometimes agg
ressive personality. her moodiness and willingness to start arguments doesn't always sit we
ll with people, so it was natural for her to purchase an android companion. droids don't mi
nd when someone is snappy with them. aside from her drive to climb to the top of the ladder
and decently hot-headed personality, genevieve does have a couple decent human qualitie
s. she's exceptionally generous, usually willing to share with those she thinks are deserving.
it's a little hard to find a friend in genevieve, her cold, goal-oriented exterior somewhat in
timidating. if one truly takes the time to get to know her and help her loosen up a bit,
they'll be rewarded with a generous partner who will always have their back when in need.
