custom specific rules

➢ please provide either a picture reference or a very detailed description. the more complicated the design is, the more the custom will cost.

simple designs will cost as much as the custom potion
complicated designs will cost an extra 100
small line edits are 50, large are 100
tail line edits that make it smaller (short tail, thin tail) will be 300-500
seasonal items (shades, flower crowns, etc.) will cost more to edit on off season
custom sheep kks are not allowed.
you cannot use coz's exclusive items on a custom that you do not own.
➢ do not reference off other people's kks
➢ if taking a design from a closed species, you must get permission from the species owner to use transfer that design
➢ after the artist finishes your custom you can request to change something if it's not to your liking three times. after the third time, it'll be an extra 50 for every change
➢ you can only order 3 customs per month, every seven days from when your order was finished and posted. if you are not sure if it has been seven days, use the search bar.
➢ you cannot order line edits using the "i'd like to buy an item form" or "i'd like to use an accessory" form on pre-existing, finished kks.

since komatose kittens grew, there have been a sudden influx people ordering customs and breedings, and with more people comes a few impatient users, impatient being they ask an artist about when something of theirs (such as a custom or breeding) will be done. that's not to say everyone ordering is impatient, in fact a lot of you are lovely and understanding! but that doesn't mean there can't be a few bad apples.

i wanted to make this announcement to say that our artists and i cannot and will not make komatose kittens a priority, especially when we aren't doing this for real money, but rather virtual pets and a fake currency. we have things outside of cs happening. bunny fluff has a job, sinnamon roll and i have school, and chocolat chaud has a social life to maintain.

i, personally, make it a goal of mine to stay within the limits that i've set up at the very beginning of this thread (one week for customs, two weeks for breedings) but that's because i'm fairly younger and a bit less busy than the rest of the staff.

different artists have different things going on in their lives and different processing times.

this isn't to say that you can't or shouldn't order customs or breedings. doing customs and breedings can be a great stress relief when we are free! but when people pm or ask on the thread when their request will be done, it puts more pressure on us and makes it less fun to do, making me and possibly the other artists less motivated to complete your requests.

please try to be patient and understand that. we are not obligated to do this. we do what we do because we find it enjoyable, but just because it's enjoyable, it doesn't mean we can prioritise it. thank you for understanding!
