Poem:
In the day time they disappear
Hidden
Lurking
In the insides of a great old tree
Almost seemingly peaceful, you think
No
It was all a mask
That hid the evil behind
As the dark comes
And day turns to night
They come out
Silently
So silently
That there is never safety from those claws
Whoosing
Swooping
Around and around
Will they stop?
Or was it eternity?
The fear
The fright, that never recedes
You don't know the feeling
Of having nothing
One second you are here
Alive and breathing
And then when they spot you
With those startling eyes
Golden and glowing
Bright in the night
And you know
That it is already an losing battle
Between a small mouse like you
Cold and brittle
And the King of Flight
Other: Any guesses of what animal it is? you'll probably not guess correctly case my poem sucks though....
