WHAT IS A VALLERIAN?
Vallerians are somewhat magical creatures. The most common power they have is the power to read thoughts. Some Vallerians don't have a power though, and that's just fine! Vallerian's ancestors were much bigger than the Medium-Dog-Sized creature they are now. Before they were domesticated, Vallerians were as big as Bengal or Siberian Tigers! Nobody has discovered one larger...yet. There are very few of them left in existence that are this size, but if [center]you get lucky you may tame one for yourself! Some are very small, about the size of a Yorkshire Terrier or Maltese. This abnormality was purposeful by breeders of Vallerians. Some weigh about 3-6 pounds! Vallerians that are smaller or larger are much rarer.
Vallerians are like glue, they'll follow the person they're bonded with everywhere. They love to have another Vallerian around to keep them company when their owner is gone to help with seperation anxiety. Some Vallerians, very few, like to be alone rather than socializing with other Vallerians.

They only get aggressive when someone is attacking a person or another Vallerian that they're bonded with or they are unsocialized and are aggressive out of fear. Vallerians are great family pets because they love children and can keep them company. Most are pretty easy to train with the exception of unsocialized Vallerians.

RULES
✘ Vallerians are a Closed species. You can only make a Vallerian if you are an Official Artist or Guest Artist unless you have permission by Purrfectpal. Permission is given with proof of a Vallerian MYO ticket or a message from me allowing you to make a Vallerian.
✘ Spamming is not tolerated and will get you a Warning.
✘ If you do not win a Vallerian adopt or Vallerian contest do not pity farm/guilt trip including passive aggressiveness/direct towards aggressiveness any staff or users. This will result in 2 Warnings or a ban depending on what Staff judges.
✘ Each user may own a maximum of 7 Vallerians at the moment. 3 of a single user's Vallerians may be MYOs or Customs. Moderators, Guest Artists, and Archivists are allowed a maximum of 10 Vallerians and have 5 of their Vallerians be a MYO or Custom. Official Artists may have 1 Rare Vallerian for every 5 adopts they make or transfers. An Ultra Rare/Staff Level, Unlimited Edit MYO/Custom is rewarded to an Official Artist for every 10 adopts they make or transfers. Artists may sell their tickets for CS Pets, C$, or CS Items. Artists may also gift or raffle these tickets.
✘ Any Staff Member that is an Admin or higher may have an unlimited amount of Vallerians but only 50 are allowed to be Customs or MYOs. (Like we'll ever reach that.)
✘ Nobody except the Owner or Concept Creator is allowed to make a "First come/comment, first serve" adopt.
✘ If a Vallerian's contest is not judged within 2 weeks of it's end date, or extension, a replacement judge will be assigned.
✘ If a Staff Member wants to keep their position in Vallerian adopts, they must remain active by answering questions/helping in chat or having a presence in the fanclub, making/breeding or transferring Vallerians. Any Staff Member inactive for 5 months will be removed from our Staff List without question.
✘ The Owner & Concept Creator of Vallerians can take back a Vallerian from its Owner or Re-home a Vallerian without consent from its original owner if necessary. Some examples of a situation where this would occur; when a user is banned from the species or severely break the rules.
✘ Never use a Vallerian's design on any other species' lines other than the official Vallerian lines. You may draw a Vallerian and color your design in, but do not change the species of your Vallerian. This will result in a ban.
✘ If someone copies a design from a Vallerian they will be banned. This will be judged by the Owner or Concept Creator.
✘ When you are banned from the Vallerian species you cannot post on official Vallerian Adopt threads or breed your Vallerians (if we were merciful and let you keep some), cannot use tickets or items, cannot upload content to Official Vallerian Adopt threads on other websites like Deviantart, or participate in any Vallerian activities or contests. Items, Currency, and Vallerians that are owned by someone that was banned will be gifted, raffled, or taken back into the "bank".
✘ Vallerians cannot have a bias towards another race/religion/sexuality. They may not have prescribed mental illnesses without permission from the Owner, Concept Creator, or an Admin.
✘ Vallerians cannot be traded or sold, even if they are an MYO or Custom. Vallerians may not be purchased with USD/any form of currency used in any country or other equivalents that can be converted into currencies from other countries. You may use C$ and CS Pets to purchase Vallerian items. All transactions with C$ and CS pets are finalized and will not be refunded once the trade is accepted.

I no longer want my Vallerian, what should I do?
If you no longer want your Vallerian or do not feel connected to them, please visit the Readoption Thread where Staff will rehome your Vallerian.
A Staff Member/Friend gifted me a custom, will this count towards one of my Customs?
No, we will count it as a normal Vallerian even though it is a custom.
I saw someone copy a design from a Vallerian adopt! What do I do?
DM a Moderator, Admin, or Owner immediately with a link to the copier.
